Help with Photoshop

Im a newbie to photoshop but i need something done within the next few days and the tuts on youtube and other sites aren't really helpful in what i specifically need. It shouldn't be anything hard to someone who has been using PS for a bit, but it's frustrating to me right now because im totally new to it. Anyway, on to the actual work:

I have a small image above which i want to add some text and put a rectangle over the whole thing.
Then, i want to add this "logo" to a bunch of images as a watermark.


If anyone is willing to help guide me through the process i would be immensely grateful!

Do you mean a bunch as in like hundreds? Like you need to do it batch? Or just a few?

I think it's about 50 or so pictures, haven't checked all the folders.

But, i wouldn't want you to do the work, of course. Just guide me in creating the logo, i can handle the rest with Bridge and what-not.
