You've never actually shown that you can be anything remotely close to a top-tier pro. If you don't enjoy it, though, then don't play it. Saying "this game is easy mode, but rather than win lots of money I'll just quit" just comes off as immature, and frankly, retarded. He doesn't have to prove shit to you or anyone else. If he doesn't enjoy the game because it's not fun, then he shouldn't drag himself out of bed every morning to make it a career.

Even so, not even that will absolutely guarantee a win - Korean players still drop series to foreigners occasionally (and they drop single games quite often).

To good foreigners yeah, but not to low tier foreigners. But that's also my point. If you DO put the time in (which we know generally speaking foreigners lack) you will get better and win based off skill. You think Life, Leenock, MVP, Parting, etc etc won all those champion titles because of luck? And Cloud never getting past the first round of a tournament is because of bad luck? He can make all the excuses in the world he wants, he wasn't good at sc2. Decent at sc1, but certainly not sc2.

Honestly, between top Korean players, winner is decided by a combination of current metagame, scouting, decision making, mind games, luck and various other elements of the game that don't involve any physical skill, but rather experience, preparation and overall knowledge. Even among Koreans, many genuinely talented players have been known to struggle in Code A/B while players with considerably worse execution and multitasking made deep runs in Code S. Players better at certain things will still win, but not everybody likes or enjoys the specific things that make a player "better" in SC2, which is what I believe he was trying to say (or at least how I feel about it).

PartinG dropped a map to Combat-Ex who made it through the group stages at WCG against a bunch of players better than him. If that isn't an indicator that no matter how much you practice you can still easily lose, I don't know what is.
