I started with Sherlock Holmes. The obvious reason was because it was free and its short, famous and non-drama girly sizzle. The language is very much straight down to earth unlike my most recent read An Essay Concerning Human Understanding where everything is written in such flattening old fashion that the document could probably rewritten in half size with modern English.
Prior to this, the only detective fictions that i have ever read were Dan Brown works: The Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress, etc... And a few classic published of Agatha Christie of crouse. Compare to those Sir Arthus Conan Doyle's stories seem to be short and simple, in fact, way too short and way too simple might suit his work better. Each of the stories start and conclude in a single chapter, yet they seem to be way more injecting, intriguing,... To word it a different way, the stories seem to reveal all its variable instead of playing a poker game with the reader. That way, it invites the readers to think of the possible outcomes, coming up with their own explanation based on the described observation. In a way, they are more educative.
That brought me back to reality where i often were called, by the people i shared my ideology with, paranoia. And by no mean they were wrong. I could see it in myself, just that i prefer to word it differently. "Prediction based on observation". Fancy words for normal folks who just wana find a job and settle down but I dreamed my life to be on the fast lane, I will use what is needed.
I see a lot of things. Normal things like flowers and snow, hidden things like a voice raise in an interview, micro things, macro things. Things that let me construct a vision in which i could predict the possible outcomes of the future. Am i way too over myself? Could be. But so far i have yet been wrong. Im smart enough to not making moves based on uncertain prediction. In gambling I would be the exact opposite of a suicide gambler. I calculated the risk/reward before making an investment into anything.
I remember reading Nony post in one of the philosophy blog on TL. In which he used a word which described his life moto almost the exact same as what I am living off right now but i just cant seem to find it again. It is the life style in which you control/aware all the variable surround you in order to control/predict the direction that you are heading, or at least most of it. I thought i would named this blog "To be Incontrol" but that just seem way too cheesy and misleading.

I have been keeping track of MLG for the past week. Not the tournament result but more about the business side of thing. On how they are planing to produce travel packages and not including DotA2 into the circuit, but mostly dota2 related topic. It seems to me that what they are doing is a 2 hands kinda scheme where they just not gona confirm or deny anything so if it happens, everyone on reddit and TL gona think they are gods and savior of esports and if nothing happens, it is predicted and they gona get away with it. Smart for a business but cheesy from a community perspective and i dont like that.
I prefer when business are run with a personal touch. The more human and down to earth the business owner is, the more trust you can place in them. Genna Bain and Axiom is definitely the recent spotlight but people seems to overlook the most recen example: Mouse Sport. Until today, im still in shock of the decision that they are willing to let Kuroky go. Not because that obviously a dumb decision which simply destroy their only slim hope to win TI3. Cutting off their own wings to put those on a beast that already way more powerful then what they were? What where they thinking? But it touched me when i read the translation of Mouz`Alex blog. They let him go simply because they appreciate what he did for them and believed that KKY deserved better. HOW FUCKING AWESOME IS THAT? You dont find that kinda mentality in a business world. Its all about passion and love baby. So yeah, big kudos to them on being so open as a team.
That entire Navi drama actually set me on a heart attack alert actually. Not because i was afraid they gona change around my favorite team, but i thought i failed in judging Zerogravity capability. To me, Zerogravity has always been a cooler, better version of MLGSundance. He has the business talents while understanding the fan appreciation is a must. I was being really vocal to protect his name on reddit at the start of the announcement of announcements so that got me quite a bit of negative karma. But its all cool, the dude delivered. Zerogravity is truely the hero that i deserved and need to lead my favorite non-asian team into TI3. Navi is run smartly and they will success, as a team(players+managers).
Big shout out to PressHeartToContinue this time because i enjoyed her contents a lot. Also i just fucking love this GIF.
