-Don't know you, or only do so through the internet -Are under the anonymity of the internet -Many just like to troll around the internet and piss people off to waste their apparently unlimited time The second point is the most important imo, since most of the same people that bash and insult you over this wouldn't even think about it if it was an actual conversation, people are idiots when covered by the internet, much more so than they are in real life. Hell, if I paid attention to the shit Dota 2 players spout every second I'd be depressed and crying right now. It probably makes very little difference addressing the issue in this manner since most people don't change opinions based on the internet, most just post and forget, and don't extract anything at all, it seems to be the nature of online communities.

For those people who bought stuff from SS to support EG, what you did is just like saying "well we aren't with SS now, why are you still using SS stuff?" I know it's NOT what you intend to do/show/hint, but that is what is is for some people. The bigger problem however, is in the future if you are ever going to make any compliment about your razer products, you as a past heavy SS user, you are making them in relation to the SS products. People will ask you which brand is better eventually and how will you answer it? Are you gonna say they are both equally good? Is this answer good for the sponsor? Razer is better? Will people trust you now that you are sponsored by Razor and you said good things about SS when you were sponsored? SS is better? I am not sure if your sponsor would like that. lol What's worse is if it ever gets to individual products. You are gonna be facing tonnes of these questions and I hope you are ready for them. All the best incontrol, I personally think Razor is better :p

I do care that people have the wrong idea and I speak out about it. Do you care because it potentially affects your livelihood as a celebrity or because you personally feel insulted? Frankly, the second reason doesn't make much sense to me. I'd advise you to look at some basic stoic philosophy: Almost 2000 years ago, Epictetus wrote: If someone handed over your body to any person who met you, you would be vexed; but that you hand over your mind to any person that comes along, so that, if he reviles you, it is disturbed and troubled–are you not ashamed of that? The idea being we recognize that giving over control of our body's fate (the result possibly being slavery or death) is obviously seen as a bad thing. But giving over control of our emotional state to a stranger is for some reason considered normal - but it's actually a foolish and weak-willed thing to do.

Lots of people have difficulty using other people's equipment? Particularly if you have to deal with a new resolution/DPI setting, throwing off your muscle memory for micro, things like that. Perhaps no one mentioned that bit of streaming because it's not terribly relevant.

You registered simply so you could link to a part where incontrol thinks razer / alienware gear is shitty because its not the gear he's used to? You're a little weird.

You're a little weird. Instead of questioning the puppets on the strings, you question this user who dug up something from the archives to shed some light on the matter? Keep on trucking. Be it jokingly, be it serious; if you endorse X brand, you dont go around saying Y is bad. You politely thank brand X for sponsoring them and go on. Avoids contradicting oneself later on when suddenly brand Y brings your food on the table.

That's true, but it definitely sounded like he was being more honest in his assessment at first, and the clarification was only to mitigate some of the backlash. Honest guess would be that he thought it was shitty, but was willing to consider the possibility that a part of the reason was he wasn't used to it.
