EPTZvT: Zerg went mass muta/ling/bane and maybe some broodlords when things got half map and you couldn't deal with the siege tank numbers, Terran had the advantage
ZvP: Roach/Hydra/corrupter, zerg tried using drops and multi-pronged harass to keep protoss from maxing out, if protoss maxed out they almost always won.
ZvZ: A ton of early timings, either one person screwed up early or the other entered midgame with the drone advantage and pressed his advantage with mass roaches.
Playing now....wow. Things are so different. From what I see in the few games I've watched, zerg is so about infestors right now. Everyone I'm playing on ladder are using these horribly boring strategies. Terrans are going mass mech into a fuckton of vikings and protoss have the same old deathball with a mothership on top and it seems even better than when I played. It seems really hard to attack into a terran or protoss right now (at least for me) and without using this mass infestor/broodlord business zerg is still the weaker army late game, so that's not really an option either. I really am not enjoying myself right now, I'm hoping to find new ways to play zerg to my liking, or I guess I'll have to try out a different race.
