This stylish Kendama is an extremely addictive wooden skill toy that comes from Japan. It strengthens hand eye coordination, balance, and reflex. It can be played by young and old alike. There are endless trick possibilities for both the beginner and the seasoned master.
The Kendama is made up of the “Ken” (handle) and the “Tama” (ball), which is connected by a string. The Kendama tricks are done by variations of juggling the ball in the 3 cups, spiking the ball with the Ken spike, and balancing both in new creative ways. Mastering the Kendama takes practice, focus, patience, and creativity.

I was introduced to the Kendama by a buddy of mine. He showed me one of his videos and it got me intrigued. After meeting up with him at a coffee shop and trying it myself. I was sold on this new toy. I've haven't been able to put it down. Even my girlfriend has enjoyed playing with it, even if she isn't trying to do any complex moves.
Doing a trick called the airplane
Its a great hobby because I can bring it everywhere and just practice when I'm taking a break from studying, waiting in line for a movie, or just simply hanging out with my fellow friends who have kendamas. I highly suggest if anyone is interested to go and check it out.
And now, here some some videos of people better than me doing some amazing Kendama tricks.
