This place just ain't the same without him...
He has undoubtedly become something of a cult figure, and largely notorious around these parts...
I miss his typical freshman awkwardness, adorable laziness, and incorruptible naïveté...
I felt his pain when Pie Girl didn't return his texts...
I liked him a lot despite him being a huge jackass...
We all have some StateOfReverie if we look deep inside ourselves enough...
We grow up and forget what it felt like to be so young and carefree and yet so cynical and ambivalent...
StateOfReverie has really changed the way I look at life, he is an inspiration to many...
I feel like all the people who insta-1 starred his blogs have a kind of strange respect for him, he is truly something of an unspoken hero to us...
We as a community are defined by our generosity and acceptance of "different" people, so why should we treat such a great human being with disrespect and lack of appreciativeness...
SoR remains a polarizing figure in the TL community, you either love him or hate him, but whoever you are, whatever you may think of him, I'm pretty darn sure you miss him, from the bottom of your heart...

I like to think that he's not really gone, just in the midst of some crazy drug/girl/teacher/police officer/disco induced mix-up that will result in his most epic blog to date. I guess we just have to wait and see.

I think all of us died a little when SoR got banned, he might not have blogs we cared about, he might not understand how narcissistic he truly is, and how petty his blogs were, but he entertained us all, he made us smile on a rainy day. he gave us something to do on that bus-ride home. Because he's the blogger TL deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. Honestly I'm glad he's been gone, mostly because I haven't wasted any time reading his horrible blogs. I feel strangely obligated to read them whenever they come up.

Thanks for writing this, effervescent aureola. I feel less excited by Tl blogs without a slice of StateofReverie, in all its ridiculability to make me feel less hopeless. I actually had a dream last night i'm pretty sure that he wrote an amazing blog. Maybe this post is it?? I don't know.
