EPTThere's a school where a bunch of families send their kids to in korea. It's a public school where some kids have rich families and some kids aren't likely to finish the year because their parents can't afford to send them. Overall most kids are barely able to afford to go to school because their families aren't in the best financial situation.
A few lucky kids from that school got to go abroad and came back with stories about how well other schools do abroad where they get to travel often with lots of pocket money. Now one of the foreign schools invited korean kids to visit their school but they'd have to pay for the trip themselves.
Most of the kids came from poor families and they decided that it was unfair if only one or two of them could go, and they should all go or none of them would.
Now the kids from the Slayers household were the envy of other children because their parents were famous in their area and stories about how well off they lived were passed onto other kids often and most of them secretly wished to be part of the Slayers household.
The mother wanting the best for her children's education didn't see the problem of sending her kids overseas since she had the money to pay for the airfares. The other households did see that as a problem since they wanted everyone to go. After much bickering between the mothers , the Slayers mother decided to agree not to send her kids abroad under the condition that the head of the PTA came to a compromise with the foreign school about the travel arrangements. As time went by, nothing was occurring. Unknown to the Slayers mother, it was a doomed trip because the school could never have afforded to have paid for all the kids and the head of the PTA knew it. The head of the PTA also felt it was her duty to protect all the poor kids so it was decision where none of them went so no kid felt left out.
After trying to talk to the head of the PTA countless of times about the foreign trip she was eagerly waiting for she gave up and decided to send the kids without the PTA's permission.
The head of the PTA angry that someone went outside the PTA's group decision knew that the only way to punish her would be through her kids. All the households making up the PTA came to a conclusion to ostracize the kids and told their kids not talk to them during school time.
The kids were more than happy to comply with this order (though some who were close friends beforehand broke this ruling) because they were always envious of the Slayers household, the rich kids who got everything they wanted.
The situation in the Slayers household deteriorated after that because none of the kids had friends at school and they were constantly bickering with each other and needed to vent their frustration at something. Around this time they hired a new maid who easily made friends with the kids. The maid secretly wanted kids of her own and started creating lies behind the mothers back about how the mother was not giving them enough pocket money because she was buying expensive handbags all the time. None of this was true of course, but the kids already angry and frustrated about the situation needed to believe in something to blame. They started to blame the mother for everything that was going wrong when really the mother did her best for them, but spoiled them too much which was the problem.
By this time the oldest kid of the house MMA who had seen other wealthy households abroad and was friends with other rich kids abroad thought it was unfair for him and other kids to be given minimal amount of pocket money when american kids abroad were getting $500 a week when no one in his school got anything. Infact he started to believe in the lies the maid told him about how his mother was spending all the family money on expensive handbags. He started secretly going around talking to the other slayers kids telling them to pack their bags with him and move in with the new 'mother'(the maid) who promised them that they'd all get $500 a week pocket money. Eventually the maid was caught out and kicked out of the house, and MMA realized too late that the maid could never fulfill the promise she had made.
Unlike other kids who had to walk to school everyday Slayers kid were driven around in their luxury limozine to school. Infact one of the kids called Alicia decided to stop talking to his mother because she didn't pick him up from sports practice once when it was a 10minute walk home. They had taken everything the other kids never had for granted and as the situation deteorated things got worse and worse.
Kids like Taeja decided to leave and find a job elsewhere after telling his mother of his intentions which the mother fully blessed because she wanted nothing but the best for her kids, but other kids Like Crank lied to his mother about being sick and needing to go to hospital when infact he was off prostituting himself trying to find a new adoptee parent. Eventually he found a naive american set of parents who believed all the stories of child abuse that occurred back at his former home.
Eventually the slayers household got into such a state that the mother had enough of the house and the school and decided to pull her kids out of school. Before she left the school because she was quite reputable and famous around the house told the local newspapers about the bullying that occurred at school and this is where the story ends.
