Hi guys, Its been a while since the last blog. Today I am going to focus on me switching to Terran two weeks ago due to me being extremely frustrated with PvZ and finding PvP to be a retarded matchup where one fight decides the game no matter what build you do ( 4 gate, immortal expo into mass collosi war, dt shit). I loved PvT by the way- it is a very fun matchup to play which actually requires you to be fast and is just a fun experience overall.
Anyway, I have always found Terran a very dynamic interesting race which pushes you to the full limits of your capability (being fast, needing solid macro and very high level micro, constant aggression). So i took my cousins accoutn which he never uses and was in bronze league and I started playing on it. The game didnt place me into a league for the first 43 games ( it hadnt been played on since last season) and then finally stuck me in gold. Anyway i happily played solid macro games mostly against these people and won fairly easily.
I enjoyed myself and I was playing well in every matchup except TvZ. Now this matchup requires you to be constantly aggressive to a certain extent and being a protoss player- I am simply not willing to engage with small pieces of my army (We protoss like our Deathballs =] ) This matchup is ridiculously difficult and makes me appreciate what the pro's do even more. Splitting marines is IMPOSSIBLE, HOW DOES MARINE KING DO IT??? WTF!!
Anyway I am glad that I got into Platinum today- I guess I don't suck at this game and am only in diamond because of protoss ( makes me feel good) Hopefully I learn how to play TvZ soon and learn how to punish those greedy zergs
* One more thing- all this recent negativity in the scene is kinda depressing- It is sad that most people who watch do not even play the game. *Oh and Fuck you MMA and mysterious coach 'J'. You two fucked up slayers from what I have put together and extracted from all these articles. I used to love you MMA for your awesome play but now I am just disgusted- you let your championships get to your head. Mister J- you made Slayers lose their SUPER RICH sponsorship from intel.

for marine splitting, arcade search marine split challenge and do it for hours :D get to at least lvl 10... as for TvZ. look for good build to macro. macro alone will get u to diamond. if u do it right. siege. dont forget to presplit ur army when youre attacking. . and upgrades Terran is hard. played both Zerg and Toss. (zerg is hard too but once u know how to play and inject it gets easier. esp vs T in lower league) my 4cents

I was Z, then P, then T.
When I switched from P to T, I was suddenly overwhelmed with the amount of things I have to do. Constant SCVs (you can't queue 2 like with chronoboosted probes), putting buildings at add-ons, and managing the much shorter production cycles from 4 different buildings (CCs, rax, factory, starport; P only need nexi, warp gate, robo) plus always babysitting army.
As frustrating as that might sound, I was actually happier playing T. As Z or P, I would often blame the game for my losses. However, for some reason, when I lose as T, I would always blame myself.
Needless to say, in my opinion T is the hardest race in both micro and macro, but it's the funnest race -- Z has boring units and the ZvP match up, and P has PvZ and PvP.
I am in HotS beta, and I must say P feels much nicer to play, in general because it's now possible to do more early aggression. I'm not sure about Z yet... it still seems boring. T is still fun in HotS but it feels the most like WoL. Maybe I'll be switching to P in HotS.
(High master Z, P, and T)

I felt the same way with toss for some time, which made me play random on another account for more than two seasons. I must say that I do not really feel like you do in pvp. I kinda feel that in diamond the games start to become more focused, and if you have a plan that makes your play revolve around more diverse fights then it seem possible for it not to be as you describe it. Just my thoughts ofc.
Btw. Regarding your thoughts the negativity and slayers, I think it is kinda unreasonable to judge MMA and the coach from anything else than official statements from everyone and equally explained from everyone. Jessica is the only one who has given a thorough statement, and without "the other side" explained, you should not be so judge mental. Jessica has not been the most reliable source throughout time, just saying.
