So, the other day, I saw Hazelynut streaming BroodWar, and I was like "Oh, cool." and stopped to watch for a few minutes before bed. Then today, Nymphaceae (I don't know how to pronounce her name tt) asked me if I still played BroodWar and/or streamed, and I was like "hail yeah". So my brain started having this cool idea that if I could find at least 8 other female BroodWar players hiding in the woodwork, we could actually have a fun little tournament. Then I remembered that Ghettolyn plays on US East, and that Tesla can kind of play BroodWar, so there are some fellow gals out there.
So, even if you think "Wow, if this happens, it's going to make my eyes bleed." and if you're legitimately concerned about your eyes bleeding, then don't watch, please, for your own safety.
So, my question is: are there any girls out there who want to play in a tournament for fun? It doesn't matter if you have no skills, because there isn't really a prize or anything.
So let's say we get 8 players.
The format would be best of 3 in round 1, best of 3 in round 2, and best of 5 in the final round for first place. The winner would get free sushi for a week or something. But what if we get 9 players? Well, simple: We set up a tournament grid that randomly matches everyone up in a round of 16, and most of the players will walk-over to the next round.
WHAT IF WE GET LIKE 32 PLAYERS?
Then something is seriously amiss.
Miscellaneous info:
- No date is set yet, this is just an idea.
- We'll pick out maps from the current iccup map pack. The first map will be Fighting Spirit (of course), and then loser can pick any map she wants, except for the non-ladder maps, like Odd Eye.
- If you want to play, PM me on teamliquid.net so we can swap skype info.
- Hot_Bid will be allowed to play.
- I will stream/cast the tournament on my twitch.tv stream. I probably won't play in the tournament because that would be weird for me to play in my own tournament.

As long as they transgenderize themselves into females, then I don't see a problem really.

Just a question, how are u going to check whether people are female or claiming to be female, its gonna be hard for those who dont have a reputation of already been know as female, and a simple pic wont work (could have be taken from a random fb account) wouldnt u have to ask for a skype/webcam thing?

Do u know what starcraft is? if yes, u can play doesnt matter if all u've done is play vs the ai or only the campaign, u should enter also for Ninazerg, if no one plays it wont happen so if not for urself than for everyone plus i saw you in ninazergs stream chat so if your willing to learn to improve ur probaby already better than a ton of people and have a good mindset so dont worry if U think your play is bad, we'll probaby cheer for u either way.
