Hi
While getting spoilers from my friend today from WCS Korea I had the idea that we should rename immortals to REmortals. Since they are damaged protoss warriors getting a second chance at protecting the protoss race in war. What do you think?

Sounds cooler as a unit, but worse for casting. No.

So can we blame zealots for being retarded then?
Dragoons get too much hate.

Maybe the machines are very clunky and difficult to control. You don't know that it's the fault of the zealots.

Zerglings should be named Olsen Twins, because two are born out of every egg.

But immortality is the whole concept they're playing with. Oh, you died in battle? Nope, you're alive and better than ever. And you'll probably stay that way until they surround you with a bunch of stimmed marines or a single mutalisk.
And that goes back to 1998. Fenix is called Fenix because he was brought back from the dead as a Dragoon. Can't change that now. Are we going to call him REnix now?

I am shocked somewhat dismayed that three separate people voted yes on this.

How do you know it wasn't the same person on 3 different I.P.'s/Cpu's?

I agree, immortals is such a common theme/name within fantasy/sci-fi/horror field that a more logical name is very fitting. Other units that might need a change are almost every unit as they don't fit the lore very well.

Well, usually I take that sight with a grain of salt, their information on mutalisk damage is horribly off and I can't forgive them for that. But since I can't find SC2armory information on the zealot about how he gets turned into an immortal, all I have is the SC wiki, which claims they turn into dragoons/immortals "upon the moment of defeat", which probably means they were facing certain death anyway. So in a sense, they get a second life to live.
