Hey,
I'm exhausted, I was supposed to do this one month ago, but put it off because of business, but I've check into the hospital. I wrote a post, but closed the browser cause I'm just out of it, but short of it all, the doctors told me if they go in and it is worst than it seems they are going to do a bone graft from my knee or something. I'm like, um you didn't tell me this, but whatever, do what you gotta do. They also asked me if I wanted the morphine, it's like 150 extra to have it, and I said, 'are you kidding? That is what I've been waiting for this entire time, give it to me now!' but then I punched the doctor and said, just kidding, I'll pass on it unless I'm in major pain cause I have to work.
So, I did play 3 games of dota2 here in my single room with wifi, love Korea haha, 2.5mb down I checked it before I started to play. But fml, my iv drip connection in my left wrist started to leak blood, wtf, too much hotkey pressing and now typing, I'll have to call the nurses.
I'm not scared or anything, but actually anticipating it, I may have, after a year of rehab, a chance to play one year of high level club rugby again, I don't care if it is the last division, I wanna play, so I'm looking forward to that.
I leave you with a first, a picture for my blog! haha, actually I've been working on a TL project of late, that I hope gets launched soon, hopefully by thrusday when I'm off the morphine.

usally im a big america supporter..... but wtf we need this now so jealous. Screw universal healthcare i want universal wifi 1 mb down through out the country should be common.

Damn, if they're getting a bone graft that's some pretty extensive reconstructive surgery. Hopefully it grows well and you'll be able to function at 100 percent soon enough. Good luck!

Get the morphine. I had surgery on my spinal cord about a year ago, and morphine was my savior for like 2 months afterwards.

I just got back from a minor surgery, I awoke talking it felt like. I got a tub of curry waiting for me later on for recovery!

Hey guys, thanks,
I go into surgery now in a couple of ours 1pm Korea time,
got the IV drip all fixed up, the nurses helped me with my operation clothes, the ones that tie up in the back and they were looking at me if I needed help with the pants, and kept on asking me if I had made sure I wasn't wearing any underwear, and I said, no worries I never wear any underwear. Instead of a smile or laugh I kinda got an awkward moment there with the nurses...hahaha, oh well, in any case I told them I didn't need help with the pants lol.
Thanks for all the well wishing, after some more research I hope the do do the bone graft, even though I'll have a big ass scar on my foot, it would be stronger for life other than the other procedure which is just drilling holes into my bone to get the stem cells to try to do something. but as I've done more research into this, it is clear that the doctors are being hopeful cause I got a 25mm hole, so its really not a good situation.

this is basically what I have, but the hole is right in the middle of my top ankle bone,
and as I've been researching about the after pain, it seems like morphine is a must, unless they were all pussies, but I'll try to work through the pain first and if not, I'll go to dream land for a couple of days lol.

Might have to go into another surgery myself soon but while it's very different for yours, I've experienced more or less the same "hospital experience" (that US hospital had some sweet wifi too!). The morphine is definitely a must looking at your situation, you better take it or you'll be in huge pain. With luck they'll give you some antinausea medication because that stuff can make you sick to the stomach

Definitely not safe for stomach, wow...so that's what it looks like. I have faith MightyAtom will make it back to us in due time. In the meantime, try not to game too much and mess up your IV again ;P

Hey guys
really quick
im completely fucked exhausted etc
operations was 5 hours instead of 1 hour
but am going to be released in an hour
dizzy can't think and just totally exhausted.
Just got the scar cleaned its about 15 cm long and have another on 3 cm on the other side.
Will get into more details later cause im breaking into a cold sweat here but the result was a success but im bound to a wheelchair for the next week at least.
Thanks for all the well wishing. just wanted to post that i made it through fine.
But im never gonna have surgery again. brutal and they wouldnt give me the morphine because my wife told them not to . so she said that knowing me id abuse it. oh well. ok gotta stop cause im gonna throw up if i don't lol.
