Word reaches Mecho’s town of Teddy that the Giant flying noses are laying waste to town one by one and that the goo is spreading everywhere. Mecho calls friend and family for help. His best friend and Brother Teddy named after the town pledges to fight the Noses to the very bitter end. Mecho’s other friends come to help each one offering a special ability that can be put to good use.
Teddy bear has the ability to be ultra cuddly, soft and can grow to enormous size; no physical attacks can penetrate his superior hide. Koala bear can cast powerful magic that can paralyze, freeze, set fire, frighten enemies or cause any number of other problems for enemies. Mecho and gang spring into action and go to the town where the boogers are now. Mecho flies into action and start clobbering the noses with his fists as hard as he can. Teddy uses giant rocks to shut the noses’ nostrils. Koala bear uses his magic to clean up the goo. Something is wrong though, even though Mecho is dealing a beating to the noses, they are left unaffected. The rocks are being blown out with more and more boogers. Koala’s magic is proving useless; the town is still covered in goo. But the team is undeterred and they keep trying. This time Mecho eats some bad food to make bad gas and poison them. Teddy expands in size and wraps himself around as many noses as he can with Mecho inside using his poisonous farts. Koala teleports everybody to a volcano nearby and Teddy opens up for Mecho to escape and then throws all the noses inside. Yes! This time they did it, the noses are in the lava, it is finished. High fives go all around and it is nighttime already. The gang goes to eat and then goes off to bed.
It is morning time and all are waking up and going through their morning routine of stretching as animals usually do after waking up. On TV they hear news that the rate of towns being covered in boogers if doubling and even more nasty toxic goo is everywhere.
They couldn’t believe it, they though they were rid of them, but not so.
After the gang left the site of the volcano the noses came out unscathed and went right back to work. Mecho was wondering what to do; he asked Teddy and Koala for advice. Teddy suggested that maybe Koala could freeze them, Koala though that he might give it a try, but that after that they would have to put them in a fridge. Koala though he had a better idea though, they could get giant clothes’ clips and put them on the noses. Mecho and Teddy agreed. Koala conjured up some clothes clips through magic and they flew over to the town where the noses were at. The boogers they saw there were different this time; they looked black instead of the usual green color they were before. The team agreed that it must be because of the lava that the noses were thrown in. They used the clips to pinch all of the noses. The noses stopped spitting out snot. The gang wanted to make sure so they stayed and looked on to see if there were any side effects. The noses nostrils started expanding, they were filling up with boogers it was only a matter of time until the clips would simply slip off. Mecho suggested that now would be a good time for to freeze them. Koala cast a powerful ice magic and froze them. The ice started to crack though, because the nostrils kept expanding filling up with boogers. The ice broke and the clips fell off and boogers were everywhere.
The team did not want to give up but had no idea what to do at this point. Mecho though that maybe they need to seek out someone wiser than them, A LOT wiser than them. They knew a few wise animals and went to ask them for advice. Nobody really had the answer. They didn’t know where the noses came from, why they were here or what they wanted. The team felt like quitting this time around. It was already dinner time and the gang was exhausted. They all just went to bed on empty stomachs. After a good nights’ sleep they got up, stretched, ate a breakfast of fruit and went for a walk. They all felt tired after the big breakfast and went to lay for a nap under a big tree.
Mecho slept soundly for an hour and half and woke up. Mecho could hear someone talking to him but didn’t know who it was nor could he see him. He looked around and heard someone say “down here, I am down here.” Mecho looked down to see an ant, the ant told him “pay attention, and listen carefully to what I have to say!” Mecho looked at the ant with full concentration and the ant told him that the problem with the noses had happened centuries ago and that the problem was air pollution. The ant also said there were trees from a foreign land that cleared up air pollution. Mecho happily thanked the ant and asked how he could repay him. The ant told him just cleaning up the pollution would be enough. Mecho woke Teddy and Koala and told them what happened.
They wanted to meet the talking ant, but he disappeared.
They all went to eat their afternoon meal. After eating they flew over to the foreign land and met with the king. The king was an old Tortoise. Mecho explained that there were problems with Giant flying noses in his homeland and told him that there were trees that cleaned up air pollution. The king told Mecho to meet his botanist and ask him what these trees were and maybe he could him about them. The team met the botanist and explained everything to him the botanist knew just what they were talking about. He said with the agreement of the king he could give them a few of “The Trees” and they could be on their way. The kind told them his country was having a BIG problem as well and that if they cleared up his problem he would give them some trees.
“What’s the problem?” they asked. “Stone Giants” he said, “they are crushing villages across the nation.” Mecho told the king they would solve the problem but that they needed some time to think. Mecho and the gang went to meditate under a tree and try to solve this problem in their heads. Mecho had once heard that the solution was in the problem and with that in mind he meditated. With full attention he closed all his senses and did his best to repeat this in his mind. He saw it within his minds eye. “I got it!” he said. He told the gang that they could use the snot from noses to cover the giants, slow them down and then collect them all in one place and throw them into a volcano.
Koala bear teleported back to his home country. Mecho and Teddy flew over to where the Giant were and sent the coordinates of their location to Koala. Koala teleported the snot overhead and it fell on the Giants. The Giants could not lift their legs, so Mecho and Teddy took the opportunity to push the Giants into one place. “Ooooh this is so heavy!” said Mecho. They were moving them but only ever so slowly. Koala bear teleported to the location of Mecho and Teddy. Koala said “Watch out I got this guys!” Koala conjured up some oil slick under the slime so that the Giants would be easy to move and still be disabled. They all pushed as hard as they could and got the Giants close to the Volcano one by one.
The gang was dead tired at this point; they had moved the Giants for hundreds of miles, so they took a break. Koala dissipated the oil slick with some magic and they all went to eat some dinner. After dinner they felt well rested and ready to finish up the job. “Ready?” said Mecho. “Ready!” they all threw one Giant into the Volcano. One by one the Giants all went into the Volcano. It was dead into the night when they finished throwing the last one in.
“Phew” exclaimed Koala, “Are you tired?” asked Teddy, “Are you kidding?” asked Mecho, “I am” said Teddy. “Hahaha” the gang laughed heartily, “That was good, that was good, I needed that” said Mecho as the gang was walking away to go catch the sleep train to dreamland.
There ground was trembling and shaking. “Whoa what is going on?” exclaimed the gang. They heard a deep voiced growl, coming from behind them and turned around. There they saw that the volcano seemed active as there was lava coming out from it. A Dragon flew out from the volcano. “Who dares awake me from my deep slumber? It was you were it not? You pitiful fools will pay for your mistake.” The Dragon spit out a fireball at them and the gang dodged it. “What have we gotten ourselves into?” said Koala. “I do not know but I think it has to do something with a Dragon and lots of fire!” said Teddy. The Dragon kept throwing fireballs at them and they were dodging them but there was fire all around burning the surrounding forest. Koala used water and ice magic’s against the Dragon, but his power level was OVER 9000! It had no real effect on him. The Dragon flew in with extreme speed and crushed them with his tail.
“I…I cannot feel my body” said Mecho, he passed out. Darkness seemed to be everywhere, there was nothing but darkness. “Where am I?” though Mecho, “What is this place?” Mecho saw his master that had taught him everything he knew from a distance. He started running towards him and the more he ran towards him the further away he got, “Master wait!” said Mecho. Mecho stopped and thought it through, “Got it!” he said. He started running away from his Master and looked back and saw that his Master was getting closer and closer behind him the more he ran in the opposite direction until finally he was right behind him. Mecho turned himself around.
“Have you forgotten everything I have taught you?” said his Guru. “No” said Mecho. “Oh, but you have. You have forgotten how to use your head, how to be smart. You have a lot of heart and always have but you do not use your head enough!” “But I have been using my head as much as I can! I used tactics to get rid of the Giants!” said Mecho. “And look at where it has gotten you!” his Master disappeared.
There was light all around now and Mecho woke up. He was in a Jail cell, “Ahh you are up!” said the guard, who was a large, muscle bound, chiseled bull. “Good Good, the King has been expecting you!” “The King?” said Mecho. “Yes, the King. Are you listening?” said the guard. Mecho did say anything as the guard opened the cell and they both walked to the other cell where Koala was staying. “What are you doing here?” asked Mecho. “The same thing you are!” said Koala. The guard opened up Koala cell and let him out too. “It is really unfortunate that they have stripped us of our powers.” Said Koala. “WHAT!?!” said Mecho. They went over to Teddy’s cell, “It’s true” said Teddy. “Why are we all in jail?” asked Mecho. “You will soon find out” said the guard as he let Teddy out.
The guard unlocked the door to the holding cells. They all went up these long, spiral stairs. They got to the top where there was a huge stone door. The guard unlocked it and unlocked their chains and let them out. He walked them up to the court of the King. “Oh great and wise King, why were we jailed?” asked Mecho. “You have done a great harm to this country of ours!” said the King. “Half of our country has been burned to cinders by that wretched Dragon! You will be banished from our kingdom! FOREVER!” “But we can stop the Dragon, I swear it upon my life we can stop him!” said Mecho, with hope in his eyes. “I already stopped him!” said the King.
“You have no powers now, I had to take your powers into a crystal shard the would put the Dragon back to sleep into the Volcano.” “You are now just normal Teddy bears” said the King. “Is there no way we can get our powers back?” asked Mecho. “That is none of my concern, you have misused your power anyways” said the King. “Begone now! You are banished from my kingdom! May you never return again!” “But wait we got rid of the Stone Giants! Do we not get some of THE Trees?” “I have already sent them to your country of HOME and they are being used. NOW BEGONE!”
Grief and Happiness both filled the crew. They were saddened by the fact that their powers were now gone, that they were banished from this country, that they disappointed the king so much, that they were the cause of the fact that half the country was burned down, and that they had no way of getting back home. They were happy that they fulfilled the mission that they set out to fulfill. They were escorted into a carriage by the guards, who were this time deer. The magical carriage had no one in the front who was directing it, it was self directed to go to the outskirts of the country.
As the crew were ridding off, they wondered if they would ever come back to this country. They enjoyed the scenery on the way to the outskirts, but at the same time were saddened that they would never get to see it again. It was really beautiful, trees were swaying, a cool breeze was hitting them, the birds were singing in the air. It was getting dark though and they slept through the night. When the crew awoke, they were quickly reminded as to why they had been banished. They were now into the charred and barren wasteland, the other half of the country that was no longer livable at this point. As they rode there were no birds chirping, only crows going “Caw caw caw”, no wonderful scenery, only burned land everywhere, no sings of life, just doom and glood. Finally they reached the outskirts of the country and the carriage stopped. They got off and the carriage rode off.
