Today, as FRAY Beta just opened, I faced my first loss. (I've been playing since the first ever alpha version was released)
We played on the Friedland Ave map, which is the most basic map ever.
I played my usual team, but since the beta, you have an xp system that didn't allow me to use as much stuff as I would have liked to.

But lets get down to it.

I spawn at the bottom of the map and he spawns at the top. I have a tank, a sniper, a support and an assault. He almost has the same comp, but he has a shadow instead of a support. This is my first game in the beta and we're both lvl 1, our units only having basic weapons and skills.

We walk up to each other the first two rounds. I eventually see his tank in front of me. here I make a crucial mistake, leaving my sniper behind and alone. I didn't know he was playing with a shadow, and I had no scan available due to being lvl 1.

Then I do an equally stupid mistake by walking my tank and assault through a choke where his three other units awaited them, while my sniper got raped by the shadow's critical strike. Two turns later I'm down 3 kills and I my support, which is my only unit alive, has around 10/125 hp. I'll be able to keep it alive until the very end, though.

I respawn my tank behind him and get the kill on his sniper with the tank's shotgun. I manage to kill all three units left as my sniper and assault respawn, but I lose the sniper to his shadow again in the process, bringing the game to 5-4. At that point, his core units are back and he just sprints forward to kill my low hp sniper and support, giving him the win 7-4.

What I learnt :
- Shadow is pretty good if you do not have detection.
- Walking half your team in a defended choke is BAD. Shouldn't do that ever again.
- Support deals no damage to tanks.
- Accuracy boosts are good, better use them more next time.
