To give me feedback and help me make my casts better!
In this video, a game with Grubby vs KSPixel on Shakura's Plateau; I would like feedback regarding me as a caster and the "cinematic engagements" method I am trying to implement. I only did it lightly in this video, as to not over-do it. Please guys, help me out in becoming a better caster, as this is something I shall be persuing and as I prepare for casting tournaments and future games for you, the viewer. Thanks in advance, I truly appreciate all and any feedback you provide.

I have been casting for about a week now. Why do ya ask? And as for word usage, when I am casting and observing, sometimes I say the most random things, like "shenanigans". Thanks for watching and commenting!

Not a bad cast.. nice camera control as well
Just watch saying "umm" and you'll be much better ( you werent too bad with this, but it's a big rule for public speaking)

Thank you very much for that feedback! That was something i was worried about as well, and I am doing my best to stop saying "ummm" so much. My first cast, I say "actually/actual" over 50 times in 12 minutes. If you have replays that I could cast and improve with please let me know. Thanks again.

Hi MacroPLZ, I didn't have time to watch the video last time I posted and just did, so here's some feedback, make of it what you will.
First, you're surprisingly good. For someone with 4 video's up, there was almost no dead time, and you had a pretty good handle on the game. Your discussion about the map and possible things for players to be aware of was really decent too. The UI removal was nice to see aswell. There were a couple of things that I think could have been better though.
First is, during the major fights it was obvious some of the time you were enthusiastic, but you weren't always expressing it enough that an audience would necessarily follow along with you. As a caster I think it's your job to hype it up and make sure anyone can feel the excitement, if you're just describing what is happening it kind of detracts from the quality of the viewer experience as you end up focussing on a voice that just isn't as exciting as the game. The first fight I actually think was a lot better, but during the fight for the third you seemed to just lose that excitement.
Second, and kinda related to the first, don't discuss lag issues during a major fight with epic micro that is potentially game deciding! When the second group of players went out you can have it as something to discuss in the next bit of downtime, but mid fight you were discussing the mechanics of drop micro and lag, which really wasn't that fun.
Interestingly, I don't think your umms were that bad at least, a little work could help but it's not a massive issue for me with the amount you do it.
I hope that helps. Overall I have a positive view of your casting so please don't take that feedback as anything other than my thoughts on how you could improve.
