A bunch of friends of mine started this packed, of buying (collection old school games) as in DreamCast, SNES, NES.. whatever you can think of we most likely have it with many games to the collections.
Once per week, my friends and I host a old school gaming night (at a either one of my friends house, or mine) and try to complete a game or 2 a night... even tho some nights aren't so successful. Many rages quits but all in good fun. Helps keep the stress of work or college thats for sure.
These link below are final battle or random video we filmed during the events, Enjoy!

As for me I currently started a SNES collection, about a month ago, I'm at 16games to date (more on the way). games including Zelda: A link to the past, Chrono Trigger, Super mario world and many others :D! (may post pics of all of them later)
Currently trying to complete Super Double Dragon, and is it ever difficult! To game developers make games easier nowadays. and it shows since we got the luxury of relaxing games. haha!
So to my Old school gamers out there! What should be the top games I should get for SNES.. or any other consoles (for my friends and what not future consoles I might purchase).
What are classic games that makes your "Nostalgia" sense go wild ?
- Would you like a constant blog of each Old School gaming night we do ? (so once per week) - If I would figure out the hookups I could stream some nights!?!? Added a picture of all the games I have for the SNES so far + Show Spoiler +Hard one's to see. Super Mario Kart, Super Street Fighter 2. Missing in picture: Completed Boxed - Yoshi's Safari Completed Boxed - Zelda, A Link to the past

Yoshi story video is wrong!
And you should get megaman x,x2,x3 games
|
Oups, should be fixed now!
-Megaman's are definitely on my list to get :D!

The 3 donkey kongs are a must for gaming nights with friends like that !
|
Yeah we tried donkey kong country 2 last friday, couldn't complete it (his game couldn't save) so when we died we just quit and attempted another game xD
|
Second on the donkey Kong games and Chrono Trigger and FF. Don't forget Final Fantasy Mystic Quest it's pretty badass and it's not a 40+ hour game. Also if you can find them Soul Blazer and Terranigma, Plus Secret of mana it's 2 player when you get your 2nd character.

Sup Vaelom
Hmm the only really old game that I played was Chrono Trigger on SNES. Great game...haven't played it in a decade though.
|
When I visited my old school gamer friend for Spring Break we played Super Metroid and Kirby Super Star. In Super Metroid I got to a room beyond my ken (by skill or design), so my friend ended up 1-shotting the sequence break and showing me as many sequence breaks as possible with wall jumping and bomb jumping. Good times.
|
Hmm FF games and mystic quest are a must for any old school gamers thats for sure! Never heard of Soul Blazer or Terranigma :/ def checking it out once I get home!
|
Secret of mana is a must for snes. Especially since you can play it with 2. PS1 was an awesome console (ff7, suidoken, xenogears etc.)

If you plan on getting an N64 you should totally get these games:
-Goldeneye -Perfect Dark -Blast Corps -Killer Instinct Gold -Jet Force Gemini -Banjo Kazooie and Tooie -Rayman 2 -Mario 64 -Paper Mario -Turok 1 & 2 -South Park -Re-Volt
... and many others I cannot remember
Also for the Snes I could recommend some:
-Stunt Racer FX -F Zero -Yoshi's Cookie -Top Gear 3000 (you should totally get this one) -Killer Instinct -EVO: Search For Eden
I'm also making a collection of games, the only difference is that I'm starting with n64 and I'm so poor I can barely afford anything, so far I only have 3 games ;__;
|
Yeah I have a N64 as well ^_^ planning to do that as well later on, maybe after the SNES! (I've got F-zero but that's the only thing out of that list )
|
Super Mario Kart for the SNES is the greatest Mario Kart ever made.
LOL @ these wannabe 90's babies hipsters praising Mario Kart 64. You don't know greatness til you've played the original.

Added a picture of the games I own for the SNES :D!
