Keane's releasing a new album - Strangeland :D

Clazziquai10 Singapore1949 Posts March 14 2012 16:51 GMT #1 Now, Keane has been my favourite band since god knows when - I'm guessing 2004 shortly after the release of their first album "Hopes and Fears". I remember back then, and even till now, I have never been a really cheerful person, and at times, listening to their songs kept me going strong because they reflect my thoughts and feelings so well. They are never going to be the most popular band, but the music they make, at least in my opinion, is nothing short of phenomenal. They have a really unique piano-rock style which I LOOOVEEE and are probably one of the few bands which doesn't sing about love songs all the time. Their songs are always so full of meaning and so expressive. Now, 4 years after the release of their last studio album, Perfect Symmetry (Night Train is just an EP ), their fourth full album titled Strangeland will be released on May 7th. They've also released their first single from Strangeland, titled Silenced by the Night, which is AWESOME AS FUCK!! Live performance: As a massive fan, I can hardly wait.

Its not a bad song, but it didnt change my mind. Which isnt bad or good. Glad you enjoy though. I got othe preferences for that slower, mellow, kinda rock. Snow patrol being most notable i guess.

Greg_J China4408 Posts March 14 2012 19:15 GMT #5 Keane are a good band. It always bugged me that the bass guitar is such a prominent part of the music but they didn't have a Bassist in any of their music videos. But a lot of bands do that kind of thing. Hope and Fears is a dam good album.
