I was just browsing youtube pretty randomly and came across these fantastic FF youtube songs..
The 2nd two of those links are worth clicking on even if you don't like FF7 (just crazy APM..actually it is Stork playing the last one)
And then I came across some weird Japanese scene in FF7 that I hadn't seen before. I used Google Translate to see what the japanese comment was but it was something like "I cant understand Japanese" LOL Then I found this playlist....
A guy used gameshark/hacks to access tons of never-before-seen, unused, hidden FF7 dialogue.
Goodness me!
Only recently did I find out that there was an additional secret to the Snowboard Game (ghost mog) after thinking I already found the secret hidden in that minigame... And now , in 2012, I find a whole barrage of hidden dialogues/stuff , some of which helps to explain some of the iffy/confusing dialogue bits and missing rooms in FF7.
Well I don't have time to watch it all right now but I look forward to finding out OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is me dressed as Cloud , for those who missed it last time

I've always thought the hidden content in ff7 was fascinating. Both because I love ff7 and because of how it really clues you in to a lot of elements of the game design process (both generally, and for ff7).
Was going to make my own post but this seems like a good place to mention this. I've been played an increased diffculty mod for FF7 on my PS2 that makes a lot of interesting changes. For one it fixes the Magic Defense glitch (magic defense is broken in vanilla ff7).
Certain materias are nerfed (knights of the round nerfed to hell, big guard coming much later in the game and costing more MP).
Overall it really makes the game feel like you're playing it for the first time again because of having to re-think strategies.
Greatest game ever. I nearly cried when I saw Aerith's death as #1 on one of IGN's lists for greatest moments in video gaming and I heard that one song again. Nobuo Uematsu is a musical mastermind.
I love this game and playing it is almost therapeutic to me. Have always wanted a remake for the ps3, everyone in the world would buy that shit in a heartbeat.
