Have someone else do what hacklebeast for you. I figure after a few people, someone would figure out (or tell other people) what you're doing and if it's your target figures out then he could get you before you get him. Having a proxy would keep you from dying outright. That way, you could acquire information without getting yourself killed in the process.

They're just labeled incorrectly. Most modern browers can see that it's actually a gif and will display it as such.

Show up to the hall with a cardboard box and a clipboard. Ask around for the person in question and say you have a package to deliver in person. When that person shows up reach inside the box and take out the sock to hit him.

HAHA that would be pretty awesome, but there are no personal delivers in the dorms and everybody will be suspicious of everyone

On a more serious note, buy Tube Socks,put 6 of the sock inside of 1 sock, tie the remaining 6 into a rope with the sock with 6 socks in it at the end, then publicly announce your name everywhere and say where you are. Stand in a corner and when people go to sock you, sock them first with your extra reach.

Is it not possible to somehow ask someone official where X person lives? Pose as family or something and say you come to visit or I Dont know how these dorm things work, but the college must know where everyone is living, and there must be a way to get this information from them. Also assuming the people hosting the competition do not know you\depending on rules, register under as obscure of a name as possible (making it a fake name \pseudonyme is probably against the rules, but if you have say middle names that are not as well known use that etc)

Get a cardboard box and some speakers. Find the person's room. Put the speakers under the cardboard box, blasting music, and hide around the corner until they come to investigate. Then jump out and sock them.

I do have a speaker set and i do have a bunch of cardboard boxes= Profit??? I think so.
