It's not the internet, it's the people. "You should not treat people like idiots, but never forget they are."

We are incapable of seeing through our own opinions,
There are positions we will never understand (the right wing doesn't understand the left wing and vice versa),
We mostly act on autopilot,
We are emotional beings,
Our brain is full of bias and delusions that make us feel better and see the world as a simple place,

Etc, etc.

And internet being anonymous...

@OP, It can be annoying, but I would incourage you to not let others dictate your enjoyment of TeamLiquid. Their posts only matter to the extent that you give them value. Let trolls be trolls and don't take the bait. They'll get bored and leave you alone.

Hopefully the responses to this blog will be your third strike. What you're basically attacking is something every single sport in the world has. Hockey, Football, Soccer and Baseball all have fans that are immature. This will always lead to bashing of other people, calling out names of players who are attempting to entertain the fans. Heck, have you ever even listened to the floods of sport fans that rage of due to them believeing the league doesn't want their team to win and the refs are purposely stealing the game from them.

If you don't like this attutide then I suggest conducting yourself in a good manner and ignore the others that don't fit the needs you have. Find an excluivse range of people to discuss the topics you wish, that don't resort to flaming. Just please don't come back to the blogs section and complain that "your" Teamliquid that you have placed on a pedestal is being defamed
