Don't worry about the proxy rax, it happens to everyone now and then. I think you should just ignore the losses and the rank and just go and play again - don't take it too seriously and don't worry about winning or losing, just go for it glgl

I apologise if that sounds as bad as I think it does, but that sentence really stood out to me. Either way, I wish you luck in getting out of Bronze if you do continue,

if something like that happens go back and watch the reply most people put proxy rax's in the same place or around the same place and you just have to scout for it in each game. you should play the game because it's fun, when every time you lose you get so mad your breaking stuff i think you need too work on that because cheese only gets hard the higher you go up. i once lost 93 games in a row when i switched from Terran too zerg dropped me right back down too silver from diamond. i get mad i just take a break too cool off because everyone loses. glhf

Yeah you probably should quit SC2 if you are ending up destroying things over something dumb like that. I have been in the same situation with zergs building hatches all over and protosses spamming pylons but it never took me and hour and a half to kill them....wtf.

one person who lost and ran around building hatcheries for an hour and a half until I rage quit What. The. Hell. How does someone build hatches for 10 minutes, let alone an hour and a half?! Ignoring that he would just run out of money how hard is it to like put a marine at each expo, take any towers, and patrol a couple air units so you have complete map vision? I really just don't understand how this situation could have ever happened......

If your opponent is just hiding away extra buildings, just patrol marines/ marauders at every single base so he can't mine. Then work on patrolling up and down choke points and using vikings if his buildings can fly. Just macro up, scan and sensor tower the whole damn map, and it's impossible to lose or to take very long to find him. Hell, if you think about it, it's impossible for Terran to waste more than 20 minutes tracking down extra ground structures if you're approaching the situation with a clear head >.> And hiding away structures doesn't go away in higher leagues, for the record. A win is a win, and players will take it any way they can. As frustrated as you are, it's legitimate. You gotta finish the game.

The thing is, you're in bronze, meaning you have no mechanical skill whatsoever. One cannot begin to play the MENTAL game of Starcraft until you are on the GSL stage. Up until then, you are in a battle of who can click better.

Yet I still hit masters. I would say the main reason why I got to my goal was the passion I had for the game. Every time I watched an event or a stream I felt involved and I felt a really good sensation. Then I go play the game and that sensation translates into the game. I suggest that you find something that motivates you and train yourself to use it subliminally. Also when you get angry, tell yourself that at the end of the day a loss or two, or even 10 losses in a row (trust me those suck) isn't going to kill you. Everyone has to lose at some point in time. Remember that Blizzard is trying to make you lose.

That being said it does sound like you should work on your anger too. I get super angry and frustrated at Starcraft too sometimes. It's a natural response to caring about something. If ur not in GM or top 8 masters u should be happy with a 50% winrate, cuz that means ur playing at the right level for u. Also what are u getting mad at? That pesky opponent for cheesing you and 'oh cmon why do they allways cheese me' amirite? Urself for losing a game in bronze league? Guess what, no1 actually cares except for urself, ur only gonna get promoted if u keep ur cool and play to improve. Off course, every1 gets annoyed sometimes when they are on a losing streak or lose a silly game, if you feel ur getting annoyed just go take a break, do some pushups (works well), get a drink, go run outside I dunno.

The guy agreed with half your post, the part about breaking stuff, and you're still sarcastically hunting straw men =( For someone who's not already in masters, you (OP) take the game way too seriously. I'd look up gheed's blog or some funday mondays to get your mind right. And in the most backwards way, you'll probably end up improving at the game just through more playtime despite not trying anywhere near as serious.

I suggest you go play some 4v4's to just practice macroing under pressure (since bronze 1v1 people are too passive) and once you're comfortable go back to 1v1 (that's what I did) also this removes the need to worry about matchups and strategy and scouting etc so you can just practice the basics without all these other strain which makes it more difficult

Also just macro. Spent 1 day and just figure out all the hot keys and how to macro up. Forget anything else. Mediocre macro is the basis of cutting down 3/4s of what can kill you.

Also it helps to know the game doesn't have an inbuilt NR20 rule in it. Most bronze league players simply do NOT attack at all..ever... Seriously...that's it.

1. Look at the replay of the game and determine why you lost. 2. Through the replay, determine how you can win next time you are faced with a similar situation. If you don't know the answer, view other people's replays or search strategies or even post something in this forum asking in a constructive way how'd you go about improving your gameplay. 3. Admit that you may have made a few mistakes. Forgive yourself, learn from it and don't repeat it. 4. Hope you get matched with the same person again and show them who's boss! Or show everyone who's boss. If you lose, start at point 1 again. :D

If you want as a diamond protoss i could play with you in some 1v1s. I got placed in bronze and after a month of little gaming but a good amount of watching (GSL) i got to plat. Just understanding the game can get you out of the bronze silver gold area.
