Introduction to the Team + Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3

(This week the blog was written by Adeeen, which pictures (chosen by Adeeen) and coding by Erzz, so that Erzz could practice more. Sorry for lateness, but we got something special for this week planned!)

Hey TeamLiquid! This week we went up against Winchester High School, out of the USA. Looking at their line-up on the HSL site, they seemed to have a pretty formidable team with a Masters, 2 Diamonds, 2 Platinums, 3 Golds and 3 Charmanders. Going into this match we knew that it would be pretty touch and go, however, we thought that we could pull it off if WreakingBall could win the first game and the Ace and AverageFeds and AveragePanda could win the 2v2.
There was no streaming this week, as Aiden was playing and Braden was sick.
There is no interview this week as it was the first week back in class and we did not have time to film and edit the interview while just getting back into things. Sorry about that.
Anyways, let’s move onto the games!!

TvZ - WreakingBall (Pink) vs eScNewking (Orange) on MLG Shakuras Plateau

WreakingBall opens with a proxy Barracks into bunker rush near Krahhl’s base.

Deciding it was a bad move when Krahhl did not expand, WreakingBall flew his barracks back to his base

WreakingBall is taking an expansion while putting on some early pressure with his marines.

WreakingBall fends off numerous ling/baneling pushes while Krahhl techs to mutalisks.

Some mutalisk harassment by Krahhl.

WreakingBall manages to take out Krahhl’s 3rd and 4th , while Krahhl is teching to Brood Lords.

Krahhl pushes with Brood Lords for the win.

No comment from WreakingBall.

TvT - Erzz (Green) vs TheFishyOne (Purple) on MLG Antiga Shipyard

Okay now we have Erzz versus TheFishyOne

Erzz begins with a cloaked Banshee opening.

TheFishyOne scouts this and begins producing Vikings.

TheFishyOne moves out with a Viking, a Seige Tank and 6 marines. The only hope for Erzz is his cloaked Banshees.

With a well placed scan, TheFishyOne takes care of those.

TheFishyOne pushes in for the win.

Erzz's comment: "That was silly."

PZvTP - AveragePanda (Yellow) and AverageFeds (Purple) vs sayID (Blue) and Ininja (Orange) on Scorched Haven

sayID did not show up, so we got a forfeit win.

PvT - Adeeen (Green) vs CrippleSquad (Purple) on MLG Dual Sight

So now we have Adeeen.

Adeeen opened with some kind of Quad Gateway…. Rush? CrippleSquad opened with 4 barracks.

CrippleSquad attempted to place a bunker and finish the game early, but Adeeen managed to hold it off with good forcefields.

Adeeen teched to Colossi while CrippleSquad teched to ravens. In a small engagement Adeeen managed to catch 1/3 of CrippleSquad’s army with some forcefields.

Adeeen pushed but mis-rallied, and ultimately forgot one of his Colossi in the middle of the map. Because of bad placement and forcefields the majority of the army was destroyed, but he managed to save the one Colossus.

CrippleSquad attempted a push which Adeeen managed to defeat.

Adeeen attempted to push, but he had poor army composition, and lost the majority of his units, this ultimately won CrippleSquad the game.

CrippleSquad's push to win, coupled with banshee harass in the main.

Adeeen's comment: "I have got to do better next time".

These matches could have gone either way. Next week we face a nearby school, CEC, and we will win.
