This week we were up against Loyalist Collegiate and Vocation Institute. However, they did not submit their line up in time for our match. As a result, we won 3-0. So rather than talk about our match, I'll talk about some of the eventful things at our practice.

This week we all (except Cody) travelled to Dalhousie University to practice together for 5 hours. Part way through, Nik, Jared, and I decided to go purchase some food. We found a man selling hotdogs and hamburgers and bought some. When Nik went to put condiments on his hotdog, I noticed a bottle labelled "Use at your own risk!!! HOT!!!". Nik used it. "Challenge accepted". Upon arriving back at the lab we were practicing in, Nik chugged a bottle of raspberry ginger ale, then ran to the bathroom. When he got back he said his tongue had been bleeding and his throat was on fire. I suck at conclusions.

Also, while we were there Aiden got promoted to Silver league. Congratulations! When asked how it feels, he replied "It feels pretty good to be in silver". Go for gold, Aiden!

Here are a couple games from our practicing.

PvP - AverageAsian (Red) vs beaker (Blue) on Shakuras Plateau

Beaker goes for a 3 gate robo build, while AverageAsian goes for the standard 2gas before core into 19 stargate build.

AverageAsian then places a Fleet Beacon and gets a Mothership out at 9:15. Supplies are even.

While AverageAsian was teching, beaker marched across the map and camped nearby AverageAsian's base.

After AverageAsian moved out with his Mothership, beaker attacked the front of AverageAsian's base. AverageAsian manages to delay for a little while with a well placed forcefield.

AverageAsian brings his Mothership back to defend, and catches beaker's whole army in a vortex.

When beaker's units escape the vortex, they find AverageAsian's army waiting for them. Upon destroying the enemy, AverageAsian marches across the map to beaker's base. As he is attacking, beaker counter attacks.

AverageAsian wins the base race, and the game.

The Average team goes for a Marine Roach push.

They manage to break through the wall off. Harper and Daksos pull workers to help deal with the attack.

With the wall off still destroyed, AverageFeds is able to sneak a few lings in and kill a group of Daksos's marines.

AveragePanda runs up after the lings are taken care of and kills a supply depot.

After the marines retreat, AverageFeds does some damage with his roaches.

Daksos rebuilt his supply depot. AveragePanda kills it again.

While all this action is going on at the front, AverageFeds is taking down the destructible rocks in the back of Harper's base.

Harper and Daksos notice, and manage to kill the lings with minimal losses.

Harper and Daksos move out with their army. AverageFeds manages to get some nice fungals off, then AveragePanda finishes the job.

AveragePanda moves out and busts the front of Daksos's base. While that attack is being dealt with, Average Feds slips some zerglings through the back door and into Harper's mineral line.

Harper leaves once his nexus falls, and Daksos leaves shortly after.

That does it for this week. Next week we play L'Escale, whose players are all unranked. We have no idea what to expect, but we'll try our best.
