If that's what you're expecting, beware, you will be proven wrong.
In one year's time, you will have to aknowledge the fact that even the laziest, skinny-fattest, sluggish sloth on this planet will have transformed into a lean mean stamina machine.

This blog will serve as a reminder for myself and for those who are bored enough to read it that it takes naught but determination to reach one's goal.

Talking to my fat, retarded father is usually quite a chore. To clarify, he's not mentally challenged, but an idiot.
Seeing him over Christmas, however, made me realize how I have to stop treating my body like a trashcan if I don't want to be a diabetes-ridden, toothless fatso by the age of 50.


General goals:

To quote TL:
Increase stamina significantly, decrease body fat percentage significantly, lose some but not much weight (a pound a month is more than enough)

However, goals should be smart, measurable.

So here it is:

- do 100 consecutive pushups
- do 50 consecutive pullups
- lose 12 pounds (6 kilos)
- do 200 consecutive situps



Method:

Mainly paleo, running, cycling, pushups, pullups and situps, barely any weightlifting.
Oh, and lots and lots of swimming.


What I'm not aiming for:

Bulking up, meh. I'm not into that, I just want to be healthy, idle strength is no strength at all.

protip: program an event into your calendar for jan31 and feb28 so you don't forget those dates. and make new blog posts then with a link to the old ones updating the old blog post after one and two months looks weird

50 pullups and 100 pushups sounds insane. How many can you do right now? I don't know if I could ever hit those numbers.

12 pounds of weight loss/200 situps are super easy compared to those, well, assuming you are at least 12 pounds overweight.

I agree 50 pullups is a lot. 20 is a respectable goal, depending on how much you can do right now.

Maybe I do them wrong, but I can do 15 right now and I have barely any muscles and a couple of ounces of fat to spare.

I'd rather fail achieving an ambitious goal than reaching a trivial one.

"65 kilos, 173 cm." Your current BMI is 21,7. And you want to lose 6kilos ? That would make you 59kg for 173cm, and BMI 19,7 which is not far from the low healthy limit. And i would like to add that too much slim isn't really beautiful.

@Tim17 BMI tells nothing about how fat someone is, only bf% and mirror do that

@OP I'm not entirely sure what your goals are ("stamina" is fairly broad, and to me it means endurance as in cycling/running/swimming), and why you're choosing to focus on high-rep pullups/pushups/situps to achieve them, but good luck nevertheless.

And for the record, your limitations are excuses, not true limitations. At least in the sense that they can all be ignored/solved if you choose to.

50 full pullups is doable but is going to be quite a challenge...especially compared to 200 situps 100pushps.

why are you doing all endurance goals? These tend to be the least enjoyable and hardest to stick to.

In Hungry Hungry Hippos there are no such constraints—one can constantly attempt to collect marbles with one’s hippo, limited only by one’s hippo-levering capabilities.
