Merry Fucking Christmas

theslayer922 Canada304 Posts December 26 2011 01:24 GMT #1 + Show Spoiler + This is my first blog post Wake up. Its Chirstmas,yet strangely I feel nothing. Maybe its the ritual of gift giving and receiving that I lack. Maybe its the lack of a christmas tree. Or maybe I've just never cared about christmas. I never really "hated christmas" per say, but merely just indifferent. I'm also turning 19 in a few days, which where I live, is the drinking age. Excitement? None. It's odd, but I seem to be waiting for school to start again. Perhaps the distance i've slowly built up from my friends from weeks of isolation(video games mostly) can be rekindled. Perhaps you can assume i'm depressed or an emo. I personally don't feel any bad feelings about this time of the year. It's simply the way things are. I've always accepted that.

Isn't the need to express a feeling, a feeling nonetheless? You should express yourself a bit more. What do you want this day to mean, if you don't want it to mean anything; what would you like to make across to everyone who reads this.

Sure the day is nice but I find it no different than others I spend with my family, just the meal is a bit bigger and there are presents to be shared. The christmas cheer has really worn off on me in the past years. I turned 19 in the recent months, and tbh I can't wait to get back to Uni to see people, learn and chill. In all honesty I hope that I will feel the christmas cheer again when I'm older and when I'm spending it the right person... .
