So, I've been on teamliquid for many-a-years. During my stint, there was a huge thread on a small bullet hell dodging Japanese game. This game in the end turned out to be some kind of virus, but while it existed it spread around the internet like crazy (which is unheard of for a downloadable exe). Anyway, I took this concept, tried to improve it and created Evasive Maneuvers. (make sure you play Survival Mode):

It's kind of sad that the game has received so little play, especially compared to my other games (which can be found on flashbound, my flash portal site, or my developer site at http://www.optionalquest.com). Anyways, I thought TL might enjoy it, since twitch gaming is what people here are about (well... bw gamers at least, haha).
Anyways, I didn't want to spam the General Board, plus I've always wanted to start a blog here.
Edit: My more "successful" games:
Toilet Hero - I just released this yesterday actually... It's like DDR or Guitar Hero (except without rhythm) but you use a plunger to unclog toilets instead. So far, in 1 day, without very much distribution from me (I only uploaded it to 3 sites, but a few other portals decided to pick it up), it's gotten 25k views.
Chicken Strike - A pretty big, story based action shooter where you fight mutant chickens. This is approaching half a million plays. I really wish I had either made the tank graphics smaller or had a zoom out for this game though... maybe in a future re-release. TL members should try turning on "advanced controls" in options (tank rotates instead of going up/down/left/right).
Seagull Story - A very casual game made by a friend of mine, using my engine. You can't lose in this game... It got sponsored by AddictingGames for very little money, but received almost half a million views in its lifetime as well.
Oh yeah, if anyone has any suggestions on how to make my flash game site better, I'm all ears. I created it because I didn't want to wait 2 months for a sponsor, which isn't very much money anyway, before releasing a game.
Reach fighting?...

Just played it, very cool. Although I would love to see how far into a level I am.

Thanks! I'm assuming you mean in Arcade Mode? Hmmm... I guess I could've put a counter on how many projectiles were left to be fired...

1 min 33 sec missile mayhem. Nice game but a bit too fast for my liking( you can't shoot the projectiles or really have enough time to dodge them, it is more instincts than anything). edit: just tried chicken strike, and seagull. The feeling I get from these games is that your engine has things sped up too much. I felt like I was controlling a dragoon dealing 5 damage instead of 20 in chicken strike. I didn't have any reaction time and my tank went too fast while being too big to go that fast =/. edit: submitted score . #1 4:41 Missile Mayhem OP's profile @ MochiGames(nothing to see here, move along..)

It would be nice if the shield would change color or flash depending on how strong it was - the size differences are too minor for me to see easily.
Good game though! 4/5

The Seagull thing was actually quite enjoyable.

Just played a bit of the Survival mode, kinda liked it. Only got frustrated on my horrible luck at a couple times (homing missles spawning next to me when I had no other place to go then the corner). It is part of the game though so I guess I should've taken it into account. Had a fun couple of minutes with it.

Sometimes the game had me guessing too on my shield. So I agree about this.

Very cool game. Enjoyed seagulling.

Amazing game, I really like it. High score of 2 minutes on Survival :p

Not sure if you mean Touhou? And virus? o_O not sure if I'm following you completely

There seems to be a bug in how your "score" in missile mayhem is calculated; it appears to be cumulative(kind of). Every time I retry the level after saving my score it adds on to my previous high score instead of generating a new one.
Edit: after a little more testing I've confirmed that the score counter resets when you return to the main menu but not if you hit retry. This also appears to affect the difficulty: the game will start sending many missiles at you at once if you continuously retry. Seems like a pretty simple fix.
Detailed Description: + Show Spoiler + I played the game a few times, got a score around 1:20. I saved my score, then viewed the high scores table. After that I continued to play Missile Mayhem by hitting "retry", never navigating back to the main menu. My next score was around 30 seconds, but it reported my score as 1:50. I tested this a few more times by dying as quickly as possible and seeing whether that incremented my score. Not sure how much of that detail is helpful, but figured it couldn't hurt.
If that's intentional it's a pretty weird choice and would reward playing the game a lot over playing it well, so I'm pretty sure it's a mistake o.o
Anyway, fun game! Arcade and Survival don't really hold my attention at all but Missile Mayhem is fast-paced enough to be interesting.

Ahaha this is pretty fun actually. Not much replay value, but fun enough. Level 12 and 3:31 on missle mayhem.

@eieio - fixed the missile mode bug... great find. Thanks a ton!
I'm surprised by the positive reviews on Seagull Story, of my games it's probably my least favorite haha. But thanks for all the positive replies!
