There is a trend in Sweden, or I don't even know if you call it a trend since it has been going on for several years, to start blogs about your life because you have been diagnosed with cancer or that you are 14 years old and will have twin baby's etc.

These blogs usually gets pretty big because people like to read about other peoples fucked up life for what ever reason.

So this got me thinking today, if anyone would read a blog about my life. And the answer is a simple no. But to be honest, it doesn't bother me at all, because it pretty much just means that my life isn't fucked up, that I don't have cancer or that I'm not pregnant (and i guess a blog about me being pregnant would get kinda big since I'm a guy). I'm just a regular guy studying at a university to become a software engineering, that has a big passion for ESPORTS and music, and I'm fine with that.

Its kind of ironic tho that I'm writing this in a blog, but what would life be without irony.

So... How do you feel about your life? Would anyone read a blog about your life?

TLDR: A whole lot of something in a blog about nothing.

I think the right author could make a blog about any of us worth reading. I guess your focus is more on... which people lead lives such that most authors could get lots of people to read blogs. Probably not me haha.

I would like to think that I am too busy living to write about it and care about the responses. But then I look and find I have a blog too. Hmmm. Conundrum. I don't think there is anything wrong with being normal though. I just watched two videos linked on openculture last week by Carlin and Jobs, talking about thinking outside the mainstream box. And that is great, they achieved great success and had wonderful experiences.

But then I see your blog and you know what? Waterskiing is Fucking. Awesome. I'd be pretty happy if I could do that on a regular basis.

In the second picture, is that your hair or a hat?

micronesia: Yeah a good author can probably make anything interesting, i was just thinking about people who live enough "interesting" life to be popular without being good authors.

acgFork: Im not really planning to do this to a regular thing, i just wanted to write it down and see what people think

Manifesto7: Haha yeah, waterskiing is really fun! I luckily live close to a small lake where the condition are really good for waterskiing. The second picture is a hat, or a "basker" as we call them here in Sweden.

Edit: basker apparently translate to "beret".
