EPTFirst of all a big thank you Dremhack for beeing so Bad@#% and iNcontrol for is ,by now famous blog.
Today i decided to recreate the Player introducing animation that they use in Dreamhack!
If some of you are not sure what i am talking about here is a picture of it.

I wasn't sure if it was going to be a challenge or not , but i set my mind to recreate it.
At the univercity all day i started breaking the Animation in smaller parts and deciding how i would approach the matter..it tool less time than i thought. I went home and in a couple of hours i did it!
Wasn't as exciting as i thought. I was happy to know that i could do it but simply copying recreating didn't do it for me.
So what could i do ? I started thinking about what i would like to see in the future , or what i personally would find awesome/good looking.
My mind followed this proccess... Dreamhack --> Winter --> Christmass --> Snow + Starcraft = L.F.E.
There was a recent thread talking about what tournamets , should do during downtime.
My idea was...the audience is global , so besides just music or players we should get some info or
breathtaking shots of the city/country the event is taking place.
I tried to find some cool picture of the city that DH takes place or any city in Sweden but i accidentally found another pic that i just HAD to use :>

But it did't have anything SC related , so i very carefully (i was so proud cause my photoshop skills are not so good) recreated the beams + colossi and implemented them into the Background.
Then i quickly got my High end Iphone and my post production equipment.

Family shouting because they wanted lunch.. but i wouldn't have any light later :D
So this only the main part of the Animation..It has to come in and get out somehow.. but will figure this out later.
Here have a look at what i created!
The frames are semi transparent and make the BG darker and magnify it a bit. You can see that if you notice the tree's branch breaking or when the snowflakes pass through.
I also decided to not post each race but using the colors Gold/Blue/Purple for each race.
Tell me if you guys like it , what i can improve and if you think this stuff can actually be used somewhere!
