Dear community,
I am an ex-competitive warcraft III Player who picked up Starcraft 2 last season. Started out in bronze, worked my way up to diamond.
I'm currently going to stream my games at www.twitch.tv/kaluroo Race: zerg
Feel free to comment on my play and to help me improve . Im currently a mid diamond working my way up.
It went from:
Platinum(Misplaced) to Silver to Bronze to Silver to Gold to Platinum to Diamond.
Next up is masters.
www.twitch.tv/kaluroo to watch the stream of this hopefully upcoming talent.
I might reveal my warcraft III nickname once I get up in high masters.
Thanks in advance for watching! p.s. my streaming times are:
Monday 8:30 PM till 11 PM Tuesday 6:00 PM till 11 PM wednesday 8:30 PM till 11 PM Thursday 6:00 PM till 11 PM Friday -To be determined- A lot more than on the other days at least. weekend differs, girlfriend obligations etc. ;-)
I'm not entirely sure how to set up a nice HUD around my sc2 or to implement my microphone or webcam yet but I'll figure it out in due time.

what is the point of hiding your wc3 ID :x
If you really are dutch, theres only a handle of people you could be anyways :x
|
how could you be a competitive wc3 player and start out in bronze in sc2? i was a bgh player in sc1 and didn't play competitively, but immediately made it into masters....
|
Pretty sure your no one famous from wc3, since your from netherlands and your obviously not grubby/rotterdam.

because wc3 is a completely different game and has its focus on micro.

- WC3 is micro centered, SC is macro centered (usually)
- BW is basically an entirely different game from SC2, just because of the interface
- I was C+ in BW and got put in bronze when SC2 game out, but that has nothing to do with my WC3 history
EDIT: And OP, I assume your streaming times are based on Netherland time, right?

i find it hard to believe that someone who was good at wc3 (i.e., played it competitively) could not immediately make it into a high league in sc2. maybe not GM, but at least diamond or masters. the skillset is the same although one may have focused on micro and the other macro, which many people would disagree with.
i also find it difficult to believe you were C+ on iccup and got put in bronze.
nevertheless, good luck to you.

Only other players i can think of are Arminvb who has played sc2 since beta/release etc so im guessing you must be Sasuke?? How did you end up in bronze lol
|
I'm so confused about this thread. I don't remember any other good wc3 player in NL that wasn't grubby or rotterdam. Also how the hell can you go from C+ iccup to bronze in sc2 ?!

I care because it seems almost like a ploy to get people to watch because he was an "ex competitive" player. And I have a REALLY hard time believing someone with competitive level skills in WC3 could not place into masters/diamond at LEAST. I mean I played competitive CS 1.6 as my only competitive game with basically no rts experience (other than casual scbw bnet) and I am currently in masters. Just doesnt seem right.

Not that hard, I know people who were A- in BW on iCCup and stuck in platinum now.

Competitive does not mean professional. Competitive means he participated in tournaments vs other players it doesn't mean he devoted his life to getting amazing at wc3. Thus it doesn't correlate to placing immediately in a high ranking

The Dutch/Beneleux EPS was one of the most competitive leagues in the WC3. Good luck with your stream.
