In that BBC video there's a very attractive girl and the doctor tells her her face is too fat. I think that in Asia there is even a bigger pressure on woman to be pretty. I hear the US is worse than Europe and it seems Korea and Japan are worse than the US. I am so happy I am a male. It must be complete horror to be female. And the moment you turn off your tv and look around in the actual world, you are suddenly shocked how many ugly people there really are. They are ugly purely because of bad luck in their genes. And then there's old age. All these beautiful young girls, many of them will lose almost all their beauty. There is a huge pressure on females that look perfectly fine and way above average to think there is something wrong with their face. Demand is created. People are convinced they are more ugly than they really are and then they get surgery. An And then when we take the really beautiful people and the way we perceive their beauty. It's fake. Remember Katy Perry without makeup? Then add photoshop to the picture, literally. So we take the .001% most beautiful, we reconstruct their faces, we add a thick layer of makeup using all the tricks and then we digitally alter the pictures taken. And then we have young girls comparing themselves to those pictures. I personally get pissed when woman sexualize a male. It kind of offends me and hurts my pride. I really don't know how females can bear this. Personally when I see a female I immediately rate her looks. This must he 100% genetic and pretty much universal. It makes me feel like an animal. I see this on the internet also. Anytime a picture of a female appears somewhere, people will comment on her looks. Be it here on SC, something on youtube, some new politician on some news site, etc. If you are an ugly female you are basically fucked. | ||

Below-average-looking men can be very charismatic and work hard to be successful and that will offset their looks and make them attractive to women. Below-average-looking women used to be screwed because no matter how rich or successful they got, men would always think of them first and foremost as below-average-looking women. Well at least now if they work hard to be successful and rich they can pay for surgery and buy back the attractiveness they didn't have the luck to get on the dice roll at birth. This or they can be stupid and lazy but have a rich dad that will buy them the complete surgery package anyway so they can marry a rich guy and get by through life being a trophy wife. Life is full of wonderful opportunities nowadays! More seriously the most bizarre thing about this documentary was the desire to look like a certain star. I figured patients just wanted to fix what they thought looked bad about their face, not look like a particular star. I wouldn't fucking want to look like anyone else that's for sure. Ok sometimes I'll buy clothes or get a certain haircut because I thought it looked good on someone else but getting your face hacked is something else. | ||
