...about life. Yes Michael and I are both extremely sour about life right now and if you know where that phrase is from, congratulations! You get this pixel cookie.
First off he's been sick all week and while that's fun for me since he stays home sick, it's not exactly fun for him. (He's still in school whereas I'm...well...not. I'm older! -flails-) He's had a fever since last Friday; it's not pretty. Then on top of that I got sick just yesterday so now we're both miserable. Sour about that sickness.
So how do we try to take our minds off this? ROLEPLAYING! Of course roleplaying. We are such nerds. We've had an interesting story going on that was based around a particular picture we found while bored one day. Specifically, this one. (Warning: NSFW, male-on-male implications.)
+ Show Spoiler +
I warned you; you can't complain if you looked. XD
Anyway we both thought it was cute and have woven a rather interesting tale set pretty far back...uh Michael, what time period would you place us at? ...Yes I literally just asked him over AIM, and he says...SPECIFICALLY 1637. Okay then Michael, you are very precise. He claims it's for plot convenience. Not sure what he's planning.
However keep in mind that we are nerds. Roleplaying isn't roleplaying without dice. Yes we use dice for some things; not a lot but I'm not used to fighting without them. I'm the one with the collection of Borealis dice; I love them. And apparently last night, the d20 absolutely HATED me. ...Or possibly loved me; neither of us are such which. Suffice to say that through a series of rolling a three twice, it almost got me killed. Key word almost. (Specifically a spectacularly failed dodge maneuver got me stabbed in the gut. Which in any normal universe would be fatal. Yet somehow the dice said I still lived. But hey; I won't argue.) I was shaking so bad. Nerd chills anyone?
SOUR about that dice roll. Well, somewhat sour.
This morning the two of us were also discussing Protoss units, because we are rather unhappy with the HOTS changes. Although we both like the new Thor for the Terrans. And he plays Terran! We came up with some big ideas for how WE'D like to see Protoss changed but we're not exactly great at the whole balance thing. Sour about our lack of skill. Would anyone like to hear our insane list of ideas anyway? I'll post it up later tonight if someone does.
I, however, now have to wrap this blog up because it is time to go to work. ...While still sick. Aw man and I just noticed Idra is streaming. I like to watch his stream. Sour about missing that stream. I do believe I am rambling now so it's time to cut it off. Later, all!
Currently Listening To: Nightwish - "Ghost Love Score" (the most epic song ever written)

The dice said you lived? Hell it was BARELY surviving! 11 or higher and it threw a 12! *heart beats* ...I blame emergency Lay on Hands!
...And I have to admit it that picture is absolutely adorable...*thuds*

oh the psychology.. let me rephrase "11 or higher" as "any even number" - same chance to win, but suddenly, 12 isn't all that special anymore eh?
Also, Ghost love score was my most epic song ever once too. Well, it's not anymore, i found stuff i consider even more epic :D (i will however refrain from turning this into yet another music discussion, there's way to many of those, where people then just throw tons of youtube videos around an no-one listens to any of them :/ )

Based on the current song, I expected way more epic maneuvers out of this thread.
brb on ytmnd spree.

Well, then again with D&D rules, the exact number rolled, even if in the general probable threshold, still changes based on what it is. Such as, for a save like this, a result of a 12 could be different than say, an 18. Sooo.....

Exactly; hence why. Man that was scary. Seeing the initial throw was a three really freaked me out! At least it wasn't a one, oh man I'd be dead. Scaaaaary.
