I was surfing through the battle.net forums and found some threads I thought I would share just because there are so entertaining. Didn't take me long to find a few. I'll probably a add a few more when I surf through there again.


Supply depots need lift off

It does not make sense that the other buildings can fly. Also, overlord is like a supply depot and he flies so it does not make sense. Why has no one brought this up?

I remember in one of my Practice League games (On Novice Desert Oasis, talk about vintage) I went 1 base carrier and got owned by mass vikings. First they kill all your flying units and then they can even kill your Stalkers >:[

I'm pretty sure that is the basis of most "Vikings OP" comments.

Terran is terribly underpowered atm and this would be a good way to even things out with Zerg and Protoss.


Don't worry suncrusher, even if depots were to get liftoff, you'd still be stuck in silver.

viper shoud be able to pull burrowed supply depots, leaving a huge ditch thats unbuildable unless you use your scvs to mine harvestable destructible rocks. terran wall imba no more.

Well the liftoff is just annoying. i think the design was for walling off and addons switch, not for hiding CC's and base trading.

Nydus worm makes perfect sense; just remove the damn "GYEEUUUAAAARRRR" sound and it'd be fine.

And, to be honest, the marine-attacking-ground-only post makes sense too, if you take the game literally. I doubt rifle bullets could even penetrate a battlecruiser.
If you can't jam with the best, then you have to slam with the rest.

I hate when people compare SC2 and rochambeu. One race isn't fucking supposed to counter another one. | Protoss isn't OP. Their units on the other hand....

Wow this was awesome!

Back in the beta there were a few more awesome ones, not b.net, (I think these were on TL in fact) but the ones I remember:

Siege tanks should hit air in siege mode, the cannon points up, so why not?
Zerglings should be able to climb up cliffs, with upgrade of course, else it would be overpowered.
There was another one recently , who demanded spawning pool should be able to uproot, and produce spine crawlers to enable cheese for zerg.
