So I've been to Bangkok, had a great time there and I went on to Ko Chang for a week. It was a crazy week, I was awake during the night, sleeping during the day and I got seriously ill. Good stuff. The last night there I had a hip hop dance battle with a trannie in a hooker bar with 20 hookers cheering for us. I did not manage to win but it was great. Then I went back to Bangkok and visited the temples, the weekend market and found a way to chiang may, by bus. The trains aren't operating right now, neither are the tourist buses, prices for airplane tickets have risen, so I went to the bus station and booked my ticket directly. That bus station is huge, I'd never seen anything like it. In Bangkok I really had the feeling there was a big city around me, even more than in London or New York City. So I'm In Chiang May now and it is actually cool in the morning, whereas Bangkok is always hot and humid. The weather here feels a bit like southern France in summertime. Yesterday I rented a bike and made my way up to the mountain overlooking Chiang Mai and visited a temple, Doi Suthep. The way up was pretty tough but manageable if you have good stamina and the temple was beautiful. Here it is, Doi Suthep: http://www.nosloc.net/Thailand/images/058._Doi_Suthep.JPG ( I never make any pictures myself because I'm too lazy to take a camera with me. I always depend on the girls I'm hanging out with to take pictures. ) By the way, the thai girls up here in the north are amazing. In Bangkok there are many hookers and such. Up here you can actually meet and flirt with normal girls. Not in bars offcourse, just out on the streets or at the temples. Their skin tone is a bit lighter and that looks really good. But I'vent taken real action yet, nothing more than just flirting and talking. I've been hesitant to like ask them to show me around or to go for dinner since a western man and a thai girl are on such unequal terms that they could not really connect. I mean I could bang them sure but for many girls here marrying a rich western man is a dream since their options are so limited and I dont think it's gonna feel ok. I'm probably spending money way to rapidly but I know that I can cut down my spendings dramatically by not taking massages, many drinks and seafood everyday so I'm not worried. My next destination is Pai, a little town up in the mountains. I'm gonna stay here in the Chiang May area until my visa runs out then I'll proceed into Laos and then Cambodia. I dont miss starcraft at all ;P Only BW

Haha, I glad you are enjoying Thailand. I used to walk up to Doi Suthep like four times as a school activity. Also, Pai is, indeed, a nice place. It has grown and become a tourist town already. If you like peace and nature, I'm sure you will enjoy it. You kinda pick a bad time to go, though, since there's flood everywhere You should go to Puket next; it's a bliss down there.
