Hello everybody!
I am going to be doing a short comic strip series focusing around a pet zergling, called Upling and his owner. The story line is yet to be finalized as are the designs, but I will be posting updates on this blog periodically. This is purely for personal entertainment purposes and I thought TL would like to see it.
So far, the design for Upling is as such :

It is drawn on a balloon and was photographed in a semi dark room (so please excuse the terrible quality), but the final quality of the actual comic strip will be much better, I assure you. A storyline and background shall also be posted here when things have been finalized.
Can't wait to get started!

SO far we have a Probe taking Upling for a walk. Upling is keen to go bursting on ahead!

EDITEDIT: These are stuck to my wall at the moment, sorry for the poor photographs again.
More unrelated art! These were done in chalk on black paper and sprayed with hair spray to fix the chalk into position.

Hopefully the promised storyline includes the balloon slowly shrinking over the next few weeks as a plot element...

Haha thanks guys Actually, I just had a really smooth pen so I only used one balloon for this, but if you like I could include pictures of the balloon slowly shrinking over the next few days. ^_^
Probe1 shall be helping me write the story line. But if you guys have any suggestions for other characters or clever puns that could be used, PM me.

OP updated slightly.
In addition, the balloon is still alive and well, relatively unwrinkled. I will post a picture when it starts to get interesting looking.
As for the story, it is coming along well. As soon as my thesis is over (next Friday) I will get into the comic strip and storyline and edit the O.P again (as i shall not be making a separate blog).
