Hello folks! My name is Linkirvana and after watching the final the grass is always greener last night, I wanted to write a couple things!
I've been fond of RotterdaM and MrBitter for awhile now but had never really gotten into any of their shows really. I didn't even know the grass is always greener existed until last night, I liked the description so decided to go ahead and watch.
What ensued was absolutely fantastic, MrBitter and RotterdaM sharing stories on a wide variety of subjects, of which the biggest one (Pun totally intended) was RotterdaM's cock.
I couldn't help but to notice a few things though, first off, MrBitter being drunk is just excellent, I had to dry tears of laughter because of his yelling at RotterdaM to shut up, after which he would look at the camera and point out what an awesome dude RotterdaM is and how everyone should tweet Sundance about RotterdaM to try and get him to MLG. That homie love mode is one of the greatest a drunk guy can be in.
I was a bit disappointed in how RotterdaM was trying to slow MrBitter down though, mentioning several times that he was "out of control" (After which MrBitter at one point replied: fuck control, but then tried to make sure he didn't hurt anyone's feelings by saying he loves InControl)
However, apparently MrBitter was on the edge of spilling the beans on a certain IEM story RotterdaM told MrBitter not to tell. (Because people involved might take offense) At one point I even heard MrBitter mention drunk casting, I believe referencing the IEM story, because RotterdaM's response was something along the lines of "dude, don't say that!" and MrBitter, realizing his mistake, told RotterdaM to hit him in the face.
So! All in all, I had a blast watching these guys play each other races (Ah yeah, I forgot to mention, they were playing sc2 as well XD) but the absolute best part was them drinking, talking about all kinds of stories you wouldn't normally hear. (I think, unfortunately I don't watch as many SC2 related shows anymore nowadays) I also thought it was rather refreshing to have the language filter off for a change.
If it was up to me, 10 weeks with the pros would be 10 weeks with the alcohol!

Yes, it was without a doubt the funniest show. The stories were amazing, and the hilarious mood benefitted greatly from MrBitter's drunken demeanor. I was laughing uncontrollably multiple times throughout the show >_<

If you enjoyed last nights finale you should definitely check out some of the earlier episodes if you've got a bit of spare time.
It was seriously the best SC show all round imo.

So how can i find the episodes, and how many are there? i googled and came to esl tv but i couldn't figure out how to navigate it properly and trying to figure it out seems like way too much effort..
edit: got pm'd a link, courtesy of eodynn it seems there are 5 ep's uploaded: http://tv.esl.eu/de/vod_search/?q=starcraft-2 grass

Bitterdam is an amazing sc2 combo, one of my favourites.

they dont advertise themselves enough i didnt know the show existed until last night either. they should keep a dedicated thread alive on here for all their ESL shows and just bump it endlessly in the build up to something going live / coming up.
im on tl like 23 hours a day and so i know that it hasnt been listed as an event before last night : D its a real shame, they could easily increase their viewership if they just boasted a bit more.

Glad you guys enjoyed the finale'.
Honestly, I probably overdid it a bit last night. Bombing Sundance's twitter was pretty uncool, but it was the last episode of "Grass", so no regrets.
Definitely glad Kev was there to keep me in check, though. :D
Our future shows will be a little bit more serious, and a lot more focused (and they'll be starting very soon), but I promise they'll still be tons of fun.

Wait, you call last night's show being "in check"? Dear lord. And no, as a proud part of the 500 odd people who spammed sundance I can safely say it was totally cool ![](/mirror/smilies/wink.gif)

It was absolutely hilarious and you seriously need to advertise more, I mean a thread saying MrBitter and Rotterdam will be drunk, talk shit and play SC2 would surely bring a more deserving amount of viewers! I can't remember the last time I laughed so much watching a sc related show.
"Asian cock lik-a diiiiis, but you cock lik-a DIIIIIIIIIIIIIS" *thumbs up*

I think its a hype thing though. Bitterdam + esl are probably too humble to boast about a experimental series where they drink and offrace while listening to club music and songs from mr bitters youth. I think the reason it was a bit short and less serious was to ease mr bitter and rotterdam together so that they have good chemistry during live events and when 12 weeks with the pros comes back they will be ready and experienced from day1.
If esl wants you to know about something, I am sure they will put it out there!

"I was a bit disappointed in how RotterdaM was trying to slow MrBitter down though" haha mate, if you have seen shows of me in the past you know I don't often slow things down, if anything its the opposite, people slow me down, but I was just looking out here for him ;P our boss allowed us to have "a few" drinks on the show but I didn't just wanna go all out ;D, i felt we were really pushing the limits already, gotta understand that ;P

Yea, I've always loved Bitter + Rotterdam but they definitely are lacking in exposure. Perhaps, like someone suggested, a thread similar to State of the Game's would be great.
I'll definitely go check out this show now ~ sounds amazing.

Haha, I definitely understand it man, hence the paragraph after that , however I couldn't help but feel that an even drunker Bitter would've been absolutely fantastic xD
Anyways guys, I'm halfway through the first episode now, I didn't realize that the setup for the entire show was to just casually chill with a few drinks/some music and have fun playing (Thought it was a 'just for the final epi' kind of thing)
Absolutely loved Bitter's confidence going into it, thrash talking his way to... no hair! :D
I will definitely have a great time watching the rest of the episodes, already one of my favorite SC2 shows so far.

really great show you two pulled off, also very necessary filling the friday night sc2 void =D

Little clip from our final show for anyone who missed it:

The double massage story is great. Saw it a few days ago and couldn't stop laughing. Rotterdam and MrBitter are a great team in casting and just messing around.

I finished the entire show a few days ago, didn't realize this blog post was still alive!
I had a great time, especially the special guest episode stood out to me, absolutely epic.
I didn't mind not learning a great deal, I did learn a couple tricks here and there (I play random) but nothing too big. I am definitely looking forward to 10 weeks with terran, since I'm sure that will teach me a lot!
P.S. the fact that Bitter and Rotterdam noticed my blog and even replied made my day. I felt a little retarded because of that but fuck it, you guys are awesome <3
