Finally it was time to do the last touch up on my Zerg and Toss tattoo. I cannot wait to see the finished results. I would say that they will be completely healed in 2 weeks or so.

About the SC2 Tattoo choice. :D
I've got 2 other nerd tattoos already so I know what I've gotten myself into. (A YGO-TCG Threeborn frog and Devil Jin's Wings from Tekken5 )
Starcraft have a very special meaning to me because it got me into the gaming community were I later found my hubby and my friends. ♥ It has always been a big part of my childhood and I will never forget all the fun times it brings.
Also I love tattoos, I think they are sexy. Kekekeke.. <3

nice! should be healed by then. you should start peeling and itching in a week, and after that its all healed up. Make sure you don't drink alcohol during these 2 weeks or it'll ruin the tattoo.
Awesome, you should take this one step further and interweave each tattoo with more zerg/protoss stuff. I can imagine the Zerg one would look awesome, a lot of visceral muscle, creep, etc.
I've always wanted to get a tattoo but I give you so much credit for going though with it and getting sc2 ones lol. They both came out really good, and i find my self semi jealous. Thanks for sharing !!!

Holy shit the detail on these is INCREDIBLE! Like the shading, the coloring, even the shadows...the Protoss one looks amazing, the shading is so well done it looks like an actual 3d object. The artist who did these is fucking phenomenal!

I've made all my tattos at that studio and they are all very talented. Dawid is a true artist and I love his works. He also just made a tattoo on my mum. xD (not a SC2 one thou!) Hehe.

I wanted to write a full page of rant about how tasteless it is to get two big sc2 tattoos on each forearms but then i thought tattoos are all about personnal feelings so in the end, if you like it, that's all good.

The question is, should we be in this thread even though we may not like what OP has done? I think so; not everybody has to like the tattoo's and should be able to state their opinion; but to do so you'd probably have to be extremely passive about it as to not provoke anyone and feel the wrath of that red text that gets edited under your message.

It's definitely not something I'd do, ever. If you're happy to get that on your arms for life bar lazer treatment / etc, then I can't do anything other than say well, if you're happy; then I suppose that's all that matters.

As for the tattoos, not something I would ever do to my arms, but if you're happy, congratulations and they look very good in relation to the original symbols.
Has anybody here seen the movie "Fanboys"? (It's a comedy about Star Wars fans). You know the scene where Seth Rogen shows his tattoos and one is the dark side and one is the light. That's what this reminds me of lol.

Why didn't you just post these in the tattoo thread? Also I wouldn't say you made these either, but that's just me.
You totally should have got them done the other way round so everyone isn't seeing them upside down. But they do look pretty good with the vibrant colours.
By far the best tattoo of the protoss emblem that i've seen. I kind of want one, or rather i want a shirt with the emblem on it, but it's just always looked so cheesy to me. However, that is not the case here, it looks good!
Honestly though, i feel like the lines on the protoss tattoo are a teensy bit sloppy. It works great for the zerg emblem, not so much for the protoss.
Overall though, nice ink! I really like the shading and colors used. Is this really the girl that gave MC the probe? If so, you rock!
Forearms are an odd spot for 2 non-similar tattoos. And I assume you're not going to get a Terran one as well, though a triforce of them on a large space like the back might look neat.
And i have to say I'm in the camp that thinks b&w with shading might have looked better than coloured; its a good chance they're going to clash with anything you wear. Purple and yellow don't tend together.
I've already got a tattoo on one of my shoulders as well as big wings on my back. Why I choose the forearms was because I simple thinks it's looks pretty darn nice. It's like everything else I suppose. I like the location and that is why I did it.
About me changing my mind and such:
Well as I stated I LOVE tattoos, it's a big part of my upbringing and both my parents have several tattoos. My grandfather had a ton of tattoos on his arms and even his hands. I simply thinks it's a great art form. ^^
I'm proud of all my tattoos and I would never remove them for anything in this world. Even if SC2 is not popular in 2030 I will still remember when it was on top of the world and when I made so many new friends all around the world.
I guess what I'm saying is that for me tattoos is not just a image of something you like or adore. Tattoos is part of my lifestyle. It can also make you remember a certain period of your life. Good or bad.

Krhm, just popping in. Those are Nice, I actually like the locations. Since not many people seem to understand in here, that those locations do not hinder in choosing what colors you get to wear. As any more visible tattoo locations like the overarm/bicep/etc, would cause color clash with the tats and what you wear. So very well thought out by OP, in my opinion. You rest can have your own opinions.
And on a another note. Many people from USA have stated that she'll regret those tats later. Well part of those may or may not think that tattoos can "stigmatize" a person. Well, to inform you not familiar with North European cultures, here most people do not give a flying *BEEP* if a person has a visible tattoo. I even had a nanny in a kindergarden who had a very visble and awesome tat of a eagle and snake fighting and no one cared. Very few in the cold North care of those kind off issues. In the Nordics liberalism isn't just a word but more of a vital part of our cultures. Just let it go, if tats aren't your thing.

Colored tatoo are very very hard to remove (depending on the colors, but it's almost impossible to use a laser do remove them, so you have to remove the skin, and it will leave really ugly scars), so if you do something like this you should be prepared to keep them for a lifetime ^^. Even for tatoo that you can remove with laser it's very expensive, so I don't think you should ever make a tatoo and go "i'll remove it if i don't like it anymore in 10 years".
I went in sweden this summer though, and it's seems like there absolutely no social stigma associated to tatoos, so it shouldn't be a problem for works etc. The graphic is pretty cool, the only thing i'm not sure about is the location.. it would probably more tatoos to blend well.

The Tattoos are almost fully healed atm and they look so good. My boss at work are a big fan and she thinks that they are so inspiring. "They have such pretty colors"
