I've never told this story before, but felt enough time has passed that the events won't have been remembered by anyone from MLG Dallas.
This year I attended MLG Dallas with one goal in mind, piss off Liquid`Tyler. I had seen in a recent state of the game at the time that Tyler hates people who give handshakes with no muscle. I knew I had to replicate his worst nightmare at MLG by plaguing him with the worst girly handshake I could muster.
Anyways, when I finally got to MLG with my friend, we made it our goal to find noony. Within minutes of getting in, I saw him. We rushed over to where he and Incontrol were greeting fans, and in the most awkward of fashions I approached him without a word and just stuck out my hand. He relectunatly grabbed it but I didn't grab back, I just let it sit in his hand while he gave me this look of disgust. It was pure satisfaction. Then I stood there for five minutes by them while they talked to other people, and he would not stop staring at me like I had down syndrome. The end.

I had this interview where the interviewER gave me the limp fish handshake. and she even presented her hand palm down like a princess. and i was like WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS. RAGEEEE. /rant

The truth is that this guy was a huge Tyler fan, his one chance he gets to meet Tyler he does the most girly weak ass handshake he ever could have imagined. He is horrified by what occurred on that day and finally writes about it in a TL blog. He writes a story claiming he did it on purpose, so he doesn't look like a pussy in Tyler's eyes, but instead an asshole.

That being said, I have never understood the fascination many people have with needing to do some kind of death grip handshake where I feel like my arm is going to get ripped out of the socket. Seriously, I've met people who make me lose my balance when I shake their hand, its just fucking stupid.

I don't see the reason for the hate lol. I doubt tyler's mindset was hugely shaken by one guy doing this. It wasn't like OMG FUNNY but it was humourous given that he heard tyler disliked this (it isn't like tyler hates people who kick him in the face and he did that is it? )

My first sentence was supposed to mean "If I was the admin, and you weren't, and you said what you said, you'd get banned for blatantly insulting a person for their different sense of humor".
How is acceptable/funny trolling different than this 'non-acceptable' trolling if you don't include sense of humor, which is highly subjective, into the formula? It isn't.
Insulting people for their sexual/racial/religious preferences isn't acceptable, but it's fine to call someone an idiot for what he finds funny? I don't think so.

I think it's a pretty funny thing to do. He says he hates weak handshakes, and you give him the weakest he's ever seen.
I'd say it's probably a worse idea to do it at a major tourney like MLG, but then again where could you actually meet him? Doing it after he's done all his games is probably the best compromise.
