[H] Hotkeys randomly rebinding

I don't know if other people have had this problem in SC2. Sometimes, randomly, every one in 5 or 10 games my whole army rebinds over all my buildings. For instance, I have my army on 1, and suddenly my army becomes 1, 4, and possibly 5. I can't explain it, I don't press ctrl at all.

I think it might have something to do with pressing the hotkey buttons above the UI while I'm selected on my army, but holding a key down at the same time? I'm at a loss and it's seriously bugging the crap out of me. Is there anyway to turn that off? Thanks in advance teamliquid!

There should be an option to make those little tabs 'unclickable' in the options menu, so you can still see them but can't assign hotkeys with the mouse.

edit: It's options->gameplay->interface->hotkeys set that to unclickable.

Menu > Options > Gameplay under user interface make the hotkeys unclickable or hidden

. In all seriousness I don't understand why they're clickable either. I can't think of a single reason to make use of that other than being bad.

Besides the create control group (ctrl+#), there's also add to group (shift+#) which might be what you're doing as well, especially if you're shift queueing commands.

yeah its kind of stupid on how they do that. you could be in the heat of a battle, needing to macro up, and all of a sudden, you could try to make something with H or S hotkey and then ur entire army just stops lol. unless ur terran and you have pure ranged units lol. blizzard should make a patch making a mouse click on on of those hotkey tabs not making it a hotkey for default.

Even worse, going to attack in a battle and clicking on the help screen at the top of your monitor as you a move/cast a spell/move etc... -.- . Leaving you microless for that key acouple of seconds then when you close it you find all your shit is dead. I still lose the occasional game doing it and i'm high masters haha. MAKE IT UNCLICKABLE BLIZZARD!

Double check your hotkeys. F10, hotkeys, control groups. Make sure to check whether "add to control group" 1-9 are all ctrl #.
