So, I just hit 1k posts, and i'm making a generic blog about it before I go to bed early (due to a severe cold. I'm gonna die, seriously).
Today was also the first day I was warned for something, which is a landmark of it's own I suppose (naturally hours of crying and large amounts of alcohol to recoup from the depressing blow was in order)
It got me to thinking about one of the things i'm a little embarrassed about though, and that is that i've only been on TL since may, yet I'm reaching 1k posts. I've been very very active on TL since May, yet still having the zealot icon as I hit 1k makes me feel as if i'm... posting too much/not looking over the quality of my posts enough.
Now (TL ass-kissing incoming), it has really been an honour to be part of this community even if it's only been since May (I won't be leaving anytime soon, naturally). Since coming here i've found the most intelligent, caring, well-moderated (I'll get to that in a bit) and overall awesome community on the web. In fact, TL makes every other forum/community site look like unmoderated trash (a few exceptions of course).
And the TL mods (Mod ass-kissing incoming, i'm sorry) are to thank for this amazing community. Yes, there are idiots in this community, but few (if none) survive the mighty wrath of the great moderating team, especially when MLG is ongoing and the LR threads are blowing up over 1/1/1 and IdrA smashing all forms of computer equipment. I don't think enough people really appreciate how amazing TL and its staff is.
That being said, I think I would look silly with a zealot icon at 1k+ posts, so i'm taking a break until I at least until my dragoon appears, to avoid further humiliation, haha. I'm looking forward to posting on TL with this amazing community for years to come.

Congratulations on reaching 1k! It's stills amazing for me to see so many relative newcomers reach milestones. It's a great sign for the community that so many people enjoy discussing SC. It bodes well for the future

Congrats on making it to 1k. I don't think it was a coincidence that TL chooses the zealot as the 1k icon. I remember the fear and confusion when I received my first warning, then my first ban.

gz on reaching 1k ^^ I remember I went a few weeks of constantly having around 30~ ish posts a week and tuned it down a bit x.x guess I'm not the only one who feels like that sometimes :D

I have a question though, what's with the thing where you get banned when you reach 0 posts? And what was your peak post count/when did it start regressing?

Nice. My 1k post was random spam.... actually so was like, 995 through 1000. I think that would have resulted in a ban these days lol, dunno why I spammed it.
