Hey, I want to purchase a new game. My preferences are good story, good gameplay, and if possible, multiplayer to extend its longevity. I'm thinking Crysis 2, Warhammer 40k Space Marine (coming up) and Deus Ex Human Revolution.
FPS is preferred, it's been a long time I've played an FPS on PC (last was Singularity) Crysis 2 comes with Turkish language, so it's an added bonus. It also has multiplayer. I've not played Crysis 1 though, so storywise I don't know anything. I enjoy RPGs, never have played Deus Ex, but Deus Ex HR looks and seems good from reviews I've seen. Warhammer 40k Space Marine seemed fun if you want action, but this is on the bottom of my list.
This is my rig:
Windows 7 64bit Home Premium AMD Radeon 6950 HD GSKILL 4GB Ram on single-channel Intel i3 2100 3.1 Ghz MSI H61M-P21 (MS-7680) Motherboard

Can't comment on Deus Ex(3) yet. Crysis1/2 really were nothing more to me than graphic benchmarks (The story was not touching at all : /, the suits in 2 were fun though).
I suggest to tryout Deus Ex(1) (not 2!!!its terrible). Should be around for 5 bucks and if you can look over the graphic for once you will see if you like it or not. To me still the best RPG/Shooter ever made and maybe you become a fan of the series or not^^.

I wish I could play Dead Space 2 ( The gameplay looks so amazing and graphics are just so beautiful. But I can't play scary games, generally I don't enjoy getting scared (I don't watch horror movies aswell) So...

I can recommend Human Revolution. Enjoyed it a lot, both an excellent FPS and an RPG. A single playthrough should take you anywhere from 20-40 hours depending on your playstyle, and I at least started my second playthrough right after the first one. It's pretty similar to Deus Ex 1, so if possible you should give that one a try. I didn't think much of Crysis 1, but haven't played the second one so can't comment. Space Marine's demo was fun. If they can keep it interesting the whole game and it's lengthy enough I'd imagine it'll end up being pretty good as well.

If you like horror-FPS then the best one out there is Fear 1. Dead Space 1/2 are pretty good too.
Unfortunately all the FPS with good plot are in the horror genre. The only non-horror FPS with awesome plot that I can think of is Oblivion. Even though its technically an RPG its played very much like an FPS, especially if you use Bows/Spells. It doesn't *really* have multiplayer, but there's literally *tons* of mods out there you can download so you will never run out of content.

Deus Ex HR is a great choice. Get a lot for your buck. If you purchase from greenmangaming and use this code: 20SUM-MERSA-VINGS its only 34$. Highly replayable.

New Deus Ex stays true to the first one. The first mission or two is super hack-n-slash and presents a poor first impression, but once you get past that it feels like a proper sequel (er, prequel) to the first in both gameplay and story.

Get Borderlands if you haven't played it already. It doesn't have as good graphics as crysis 2 but it's a better game, has good multiplayer, and its very cheap on Steam right now.

From Dust was FUN. As in enjoyable, delightful fun. DX:HR was badass.
I'd recc those two all day.

You want to purchase RIGHTNOW, or can you wait a little longer and buy AMAZING games that are about to be released?
If the last, go for Heroes of Might and Magic 6 (out in September if I'm not mistaken) AND (not or) The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (out in November 11).
WARNING: if you buy these games you might end up confined in your room for days until you finish them up! My advice is to start working out now, prepare your body for whats coming ahead man, you don't want to die.

Definitely try Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas, no multiplayer but the game is still amazing.

Got New Vegas on PS3, it's an okay game but didn't catch me yet. I'll give it another chance later.
Before I buy anything I have to finish Witcher 2 first tho :D

Playing through DE:HR myself at the moment, can highly recommend for sure, it is really really good.
On the topic of FO3 and NV my save games in both are over 120 hours each lol :< My Oblivion save is over 200 last I checked Hehehehe.
My play-list leading to Christmas goes Skyrim, RAGE, Heroes of Stalingrad and MAYBE Dead Island, will wait for reviews on that one.
Also playing Terraria a lot with the wife atm hehe, she loves it.
