I wish I could play sc2 24/7 and be #1 in the next MLG!
However, reality is different..
I am not complaining though! I am a full time programmer at a big corporation. Thanks to that, I can buy w/e I want Pcs, macs, tablets, galaxy s II etc...
Also, I get the chance to meet awesome people and have a nice little office ^.^
Since SC just came out, I got addicted to this game. Now, with SC2, it all came back to me! I had to do something!
The problem was that, I am working full time, and I have a life.. what to do?
Well!........ this is when creating a clan came to mind... I knew I wouldn't be #1 player but I could stay close to the community, help any girl that is willing to get better and stay up to date.
This is when I met femFxKaren and femFxNemi, and we decided to start femFx
(I know many of you heard of it: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=252451 )
SO!!"Yui is a girl"? yes, big news!
Since I started playing SC, the community has changed over the years. Back in the days of BW, guy's weren't friendly at all... I mean, at ALL!!!
I would get kick out of any game if you could tell by my nick that I was a girl (I am not even joking). So I came up with "Yui"..pretty ambiguous...Now you get trolled a bit and that's about it. Im pretty sure Day9 would remember those days.
In LAN tournaments were the opposite. No one would talk to me, but I could tell people were staring...
Well.........., 500 guys and only 4 girls in the room playing... it is notorious.
We had a BW only girls tournament nation wide. We managed to gather 12 girls in total.... I got #1 it was really easy to be honest.
Similar story happened when I started to play CoD, CS/CSS...
Like Rebecca black says "Its FRIDAY friday!, tomorrow saturday!" I can't wait to get home ^__^ and watch some MLG!
GL Gosu!!! :D Im cheering for you!
Yui.
PD: excuse my bad grammar...
