EPTSo PAX is starting tomorrow, which is a pretty big deal, and I bet a few people on TL will be showing up. Relevant to this intersection of two groups is that fact that MLG will also be going on. Layering another level of overlapping interests is the existence of Barcraft in Seattle, showing MLG all weekend at Chao Bistro up on Capitol Hill. So come out and enjoy Starcraft with food and drinks with a bunch of like-minded nerds! There is a bistro side where underage people can hang out as well. From the convention center, you can easily take the 10 or 11 from 4th/9th ave and Pike up to E Pine and 12th (Chao is on E Pike and 12th, one street over). While I'm at it, check out /r/Barcraft for all your Barcrafting needs.
Additionally, DJ Wheat has mentioned on ITG that he'll most likely be checking out Barcraft this weekend!
For me personally, I probably will be a bit too busy to be there all weekend, but I'll definitely try to head over to Chao at least a good part of Sunday. The reason for that brings me to my last point! While you're at PAX, come by to the Runic Games booth and check out Torchlight 2. We've all been putting a lot of effort into the game and the PAX build in particular, so I'm extremely excited to show off what we've been working on. I will be the tall asian guy working the booth between 4-7pm Friday and 12-3 Sat/Sun. Say hi, and I'll give you the grand tour. For those who don't know, Torchlight 2 is our second iteration of the classic action RPG full of loot-mongering and monster-exploding.
TL;DR - If you're at PAX, check out Torchlight 2 at Runic Games' booth, and then head over to Chao Bistro to watch some MLG! :D
