No battle report accompanying this one but I've got a handful of things I wanted to say so I figured I'd plop them all in here. =)
After what felt like hours of trying, I finally got hosting games to work! It's actually so incredibly helpful, even more than I could have possibly expected. It's infinitely easier to find games and you can control the match up and map you want to play. :D I'm so happy I got it to work, especially since I was just trying to focus on ZvT and it's hard to do that when you have to wait 2 minutes, join a random game, and hope for the best.
So anyway, I've been doing pure ZvT on Grand Line (its map of the week right now) and it's been going pretty well. For some reason I accept any terran regardless of rank which just resulted in me dying horribly (though not as horribly as it could have been) to a C+ Korean. Conversely, I played an E rank player with a record of like 10-95. He kinda bunker rushed but in a different, more E rank way. He got a bunker as fast as he could, but in his own mineral line.  So that was fun.
I haven't managed to hit D+ quite yet but I feel like I'm getting there. I'm 7-7 with 1626 points. Apparently I didn't lose any points for dying to the C+ guy, so thats nice. I had a few wins against D+ people but I balanced that out with a loss to a D- guy T_T. Luckily, because of the way iCCup works, I can hit D+ by just maintaining a 50% win rate (and I think I could go quite a bit under 50%). :D

Oh they're coming. One for sure when I hit D+ but quite possibly one before that as well. It all depends on flow of decent games + boredom. =)

Nice I haven't been able to play as much since school started, but you're right: being able to host games is pretty excellent. Good luck on getting to D+, maybe I'll see you on the ladder some time (D).

I hope I dont get typecast as "that guy with the battle reports." I do other things sometimes! Usually not things like this where I dont even try to say anything the slightest bit funny but meh.

@Soujiro They're coming dammit . Most of my wins have been the same.
1)I fuck up getting lurkers at the ramp on my third and end up losing it
2) It dies
3) I counter with like 20~ lings and 6~ lurkers
4) He dies for some reason
When I get a different win (or when I hit D+), I'll write something. =)
@Hidden_MotiveS: Heh, I dont mind getting bashed by super people but I'm still plenty susceptible to nerd rage. A few games before the C+ guy, I was getting cheesed all to hell and I kept hearing the bloop noises from msn because my friend was spamming me like mad. I was tweaking pretty hard. TT

Maybe. Just maybe. I like to think I'm good at SC2, and the transition would probably kill my confidence.

Zerg is (in my opinion) the easiest race with which to cope with the limitations of BW's shitty UI. Like even throwing down a couple barracks is hard for me because you can only select one scv at a time to build (I mean that you cant select 2 SCVs, click B B and throw 2 barracks at the same time). Then marines pop out of the old barracks and block me from building the new ones. Also depots are big and I have trouble fitting shit in my main! Zerg doesnt really have to deal with that kind of stuff so much. Though its pretty hard to control armies with only 12 guys in a control group.
So play bw yO.

@3FFA There were like 30 games with you (assuming that l4rk_3ffa or whatever was you) but about 3 of them on legitimate maps . Though that PvZ on Blue Storm was pretty funny. People somehow forgot that there's actually no girls on the internet. =)
Also another BR is coming, likely tommorow. I've got the game picked and all the screenshots I want to use already dug out and saved.
@ Dalgunooooooooooo Yes because I'm almost D+ now, which means I'm the greatest player ever (or something).
