Someone told me they offered HuK 60k salary

Could be true, could be false.

I have mixed feelings about the whole thing as well. Obviously let down that liquid lost their star player, but happy that Huk is at least getting a good deal out it.

I predict that Idra kills HuK. Simply because it appears that HuK is this happy-go-lucky person and Idra is gonna be like brooding in a corner and just snap one day.

its a business, huk is not going to play sc2 for the rest of his life, he needs to make as much as he can now, true it sucks be left TL but if you were in his place im sure you would have done the same. Its basically more money and he stays in code s in Korea, really a win-win for him.

EG could offer an english speaking training house, that might be a large part of it.

EG has the money that LIquid couldn't match. Huk really wanted to stay but the difference was too large.

Sorry but I guess you don't realize how much practice potential they have after Puma and Huk come to train at the EG house. Every matchup, in a team house environment along with Huk and his work ethic is going to propel EG to a new level. TL has picked up a damn good Protoss and an amazing manner Zerg. Huk was always a bad boy, EG suites him well.

Well that is basically what Scoots said in an interview, that he wants to support the best players in the scene, give the financial stability so they can actually do this for a living. I'm sure that is where all the teams want to go in the future. TL just might need to find a few more sponsors to get the ball rolling. I Love both teams.

I want to hear Huk and Idra's opinioins not on the leaving TL part but on the joining up in Korea part.

Can you imagine breakfast in that house?

PuMa, Huk and IdrA are going to be training in Korea. How is that going to help their mediocre core?
I think esports is pretty nice.

I kind of wish TL was able to get in bed with a lot of the major Korean sponsors for whenever they end up jumping ship to SC2. (Be it soon or in years) Liquid'Bisu would just make my day.

then you have to be an asshole and post the "sold out" picture in the SFW picture thread.

Classy.

It's a great business move for both HuK and EG. Now all EG needs to do is either improve their core or clean house. Even incontrol has been terrible lately.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and only one of them is good.

Some people get way too emotionally invested in people they never interact with.

Liquid bought HuK from Millennium. It happens. Being a fan of a player is much better than being a fan of a business (team).

I do. I've never cared about anything this much tho :S I'm a hockey fan but I've never been this sad about my team losing a player or losing the playoffs. I can imagine real sports enthusiast being this upset about something equivalent. This is my hobby, liquid is my team, and i don't have a player.
BW pros training sc2 is like kiss making a dub step album.
