However from age 16 to about 22ish after getting stoned subway was like a house of god. Lettuce transcends. Sober meh. Also sober I'll just cook something at home at 3am. God being sober is boring.

One thing I found out is that if you say 'All the veggies except X' you'll get a hell of a lot less veggies if you were to just list them one by one. So I always just go "lettuce" wait for them to put it on, "pickels" wait for them to put it on etc. by the end it really adds up lol. And if they try to skimp, I tell them to put more on until I'm happy with the amount, and the workers are always happy to stack my sandwhich. Love subway, only problem I ever had was they put mayo instead of mustard on. I told the guy just to scrap it off best he can and it'd be cool, and he gladly did so (and replaced the cheese which held 95% of it anyways).

The only problem is when someone just doesnt care and instead of spreading out the meat they just drop all the meat at one end of the sub, i hate that. Other than that i love subway. Quiznos is also really really good though, but not as widely available.

They have completely different tastes, which is what matters on a sub that I'm gonna eat.

The subway a block away from me has staff that have been instructed to put as little vegetables as possible on the subs, presumably to save costs. I go and have to ask 5 times for some of the vegetables for "more", "double that", "please for gods sake give me more veggies". I asked for lots olives on my sub and, no exaggerating, she put 5 olive slices on my footlong sub. I asked for more and she put 3 more. I asked for double and she put 3 more. "keep em coming". 3 more. At this point she started making faces at the other people in line as if I was being the most unreasonable customer she'd ever seen. Yet...I still go back. Damn your delicious sandwiches! That story brings back memories...

(might be a good idea to make sure the guy did it on purpose first though. you do this by saying "no I didn't want lettuce" and then gauging his reaction.)

Besides, I can make a bomb-ass sandwich 10 times better for half the cost of their footlong...
