Edit: Oh, and this isnt really a meme, but i really hate when people write a post using complicated words like it's their fucking english exam. It's so annoying when they could just write in normal talking language, but instead decide to be clever and use a thesaurus for every goddamn word.

I hate it because it's actually "e-sports" and not "ESPORTS". At least, when people use that term, you know you better avoid them. And it has become somewhat of a religion. "I'll do this and that...because/in the name of ESPORT!" That's so dumb.

I didn't see any harm in that, because it is a positive reply, I found it a really funny post and nobody reacted to it yet.
I mean I really understand people finding tl:dr as sole reply annoying, because it's kind of a negative reply, but when you see a post that made you laugh, and it got no replies, isn't it better to post that you liked it than to not post?
On the other hand, while thinking more about it, "this" is also a positive reply and I find that one very annoying.

I remember hearing it way earlier than BW though, i dont think it's limited to broodwar? Some of my friends who dont even know what starcraft is often say Hwaiting, which might be part of the reason why i hate it.

No it's not. It originated from a now out-of-business Cell Phone company with the initials KTF. The company used the initials to say "Korea Team Fighting" for the 2002 World Cup Korean Soccer Team. It has since been shortened to "fighting."
