This might be strange and not make much sense to most people.

But I love how when I look at the stream list on the right of my Teamliquid.net page I do not see any of my favorite streamers streaming atm.

Most of you at this point are probably thinking, "But that makes no sense, you obviously like watching them stream or they wouldnt be your favorite streamers. How can you be happy about them NOT streaming?"

Why? Because it can only mean one thing- training.

Thats right.

This is my favorite time to check who is streaming on Teamliquid.net, right before a tournament.

Almost no players are actually streaming their games atm, whether laddering or team practise matches, because they realize that streaming your practise, is kinda like a football team inviting the other teams headcoach to sit in on practise right before a championship game.

It just doesn't make any sense.

"Ok, but you dont get to watch them practise, or watch their stream, so you are getting less content than normally"

I am perfectly ok with that. This way when it comes to MLG we will be seeing even higher levels of play (well hopefully.. why else practise).

And I am FOR that.

I am a fan of certain players, and may have a bit of bias in some matchups. But for the most part whenever I am about to watch a SC2 match and someone asks me who I am cheering for, my response is simple, "To be honest, I hope whoever plays better wins. And I just hope we get some good matches."

Because when it boils down to it, that is all anyone wants.

It gets me even more excited and pumped, when I look at stream lists and don't see my favorite players streaming, because I want them to come to any major tournament (especially one I will be attending) as well prepared as possible.

And am confident, that they will repay their fans who have missed their streaming, with some high level games played at the tournament.

I log into Teamliquid.net
To watch my favorite stream
To see whether he is laddering
Or practise matches with his team

When I find he isnt streaming
I'm pissed, and cry "bad form!"
Til I look at the calendar,
Realize, it's The Calm Before the Storm.

-edited for further mindblowing capabilities. added 60 seconds of work to it.

My status: opening up TL
Lookin for my favorite stream
Guessing maybe he is laddering or
Secret matches with his team

Then I find he isnt streaming
Obviously pissed, and cry "bad form!"
Realized when I saw the calendar,
Maestrosc, its The Calm Before the Storm!

Mind blown? that took about 60+60 seconds. I worked really hard on it. (Not really lol if you seriously consider critiquing this poem, you need to go outside and keep walking till you are standing in the middle of the street, and then sit down. = )

This post summed up in one line:
I am excited for MLG Anaheim =)!!!!

Heck yeah. I am excited as well. This year has been such a great year for events (other than GSL finals). Everything has been fun and exciting and it really feels more and more like SC2 is the global eSport. I dig it. Go go Boxer!

You honestly think they practice?

Oh, and if yes, do you remember school? Where you learned for this pretty important exam 2 days before it actually happened and it was NEVER enough?
Guess what will happen at MLG.
You can't beat people that are CONSTANTLY practicing. It's such a stupid idea to just chill for 3 months and then start training for 5 days and say "Oh hell I'm so prepared for MLG!".

I'm not calling names here but you know that the people that are streaming most of the time and do random shit won't get far again. It's just impossible without proper preparation.

So yea, it's the calm before the storm.
But the storm is koreans owning white dudes again.
