I just woke up from a really terrible sleep. Never should have eaten too much pizza before bed. Now I feel groggy as hell and I intend on going back to sleep as soon as I finish cleaning the hell out of the house, followed with some laundry that needs taken care of, then giving the dogs their meals. DX
On a different note, a friend of mine got me the Heroes of Might and Magic V pack which was part of the Steam Summer Sale. I have to say, it's pretty thoughtful since he is fond of the franchise. Never actually played a Might and Magic game before and I heard that the 3rd and 5th installments of the franchise were the best ones. With my current internet connection, downloading all these games (including the editors) will take half a day to finish. Still, with the chores I gotta do, it shouldn't take too long as long as the downloads don't get suspended. Though perhaps I should just download the core game first and the expansions later. The core game is only 1.5 Gigs and the rest range from 2 to 6.5 Gigs.
Oh, and I went on laddering last night after nearly a week's break due to constant headaches I've ben having. I have to say that last night's worth of matches was pretty fruitful. I managed to break my win-streak record from 3 to 6 so far. I even had a hell of a laugh on on ZvP match I had on Metalopolis, where my Protoss opponent went for 13 gates before expanding. With laddering going to be locked in the next few days, I think I might as well play the hell out of the maps like there's no tomorrow and hope that I can get promoted in Season 3. I have been matched up against more silver leaguers lately and I am wondering if I am this close to promotion.

If you want the true glory that is HoMM play the third game.
It along with BW and Diablo 2 have stayed on any computer I own since what seems like the dawn of time.

I would, if the game was on Steam. Pirating something like that is out of the question for me. DX

Dude, if you are not going to buy HoMM III unless it is on steam (which might never happen, I don't know), what harm could you do if you pirate it, play it and love it?
When it comes out on steam, then you buy it.
You can't miss the epicness that is HoMM III.

If you start playing HoMM 3, you're in for a few months (years ?). One of the greatest games of all.
I can still hear the music, the sounds effects...

HoMM 3 one of the best games I ever played!
HoMM 5 also is great because borrows much of the core mechanics of HoMM 3 and very nice 3D graphics.

I just got HoMM V last week too! The campaign has been decent so far, I played HoMM III though, and their gameplay is very similar.
