Hey all, noob chef here, remember me? ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif) Summer's in and I'm starting my cookery again! Hope you're hungry Let's go~
Shrimp and Ragu Capellini
This was simple- make the ragu with mincemeat, tomatoes/sauce, garlic and onions. Saute some fresh shrimp and add the capellini! Cheese and season to taste. It's something quick that can be done in minutes and tastes great ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)

Shrimp and Mushroom Risotto
What better way to re-level my cooking skills than to redo a previous dish? Sucks that Risotto takes sooooo long to make well from scratch, I was terribly hungry the whole time making it! Sorry in advance for blurry pics, taken from my phone lol...

Chicken Parmesan Italiano
On to chicken! This was fun, blanched spinach, pan-grilled chicken and put together with a generous amount of parmigiano cheese Definitely want to improve on this somehow though...

Beef Stir Fry
Okay, so I thought I should at least pay homage to my Asian roots and try some wok stir-fry! This was definitely a lot more difficult than I thought and I really didn't know where to begin with proper wok technique lol. I should've gotten green peppers in addition to the red and yellow, would've added some more vibrant colour. The end result was a lot better than I expected; its fun to toss ingredients around in the wok! :D Next time I'm gonna find some 'ho fun' and black bean sauce and redo this...I love some beef ho fun!

That's it for now, all that in the last 2 weeks ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif) As always, leave any constructive input, I'm learning after all~
See you next time!

I like how some of these plates have some italian names but in fact, have nothing to do with them.
that being said it all looks soo damn good!!

My cousins sure look yummy!
The risotto were never of my interest, but I love how you craft each dish small and quaint, yet looking delicious.
Especially the penne, really nice done. Are you studying cuisine?

Not studying cuisine as a course or anything, but since last year I've tried my hand at cooking and it's always been an interest to me. It's fun (except prep and cleaning lol), healthy (when I want to be), and as an awesome side effect is great with the ladies
