I'm just wondering, what is a good FPS to be playing at?
I am currently using a Mac-air, which has around 60 FPS in the early game, and it is a little damaged. so im considering whether its worth repairing, and whether the MacAir is capable of playing starcraft.
Please someone tell me the FPS you should be playing at in the early game, and if using the MacAir is ok, and maybe even a good choice. it does meet the recommendations for SC2 BTW.
Thanks for Everyone's input, thanks for your help! :p

This isn't exactly threadworthy, just FYI.
But 60 FPS is fine. A "good FPS" is whatever doesn't hurt your eyes. Generally anything above 25 FPS is fine.

Also I thought this blog/thread was going to be about FPS(First Person Shooter).

60 is the highest any laptop except the ASUS G51J will display.

Whether your laptop can play SCII depends on its specs... 60 is fine though...

A Macbook Air will play SC2 alright, but you're not going to be maxing it out by any means.
I play SC2 on a Mac and my only issues have been with mouse acceleration (fine with just about any mouse but my sweet, sweet DeathAdder), but I've sorted that out now.
It runs less well than in Windows, but it's so small a difference that it's not worth booting into another OS for it.

60 early game is pretty bad though guys. 60 mid or late game would be fine. for example i get 80-90 early game, but mid game can easily be around 30-40 and after that lategame becomes pretty unplayable.
What is your fps later on in the game?

its 60 at the start, but in late game like 30 mind + it seriously lags. And thanks all of you guys for helping me out, so i guess i'll stick with the mac air then.
so if its not the FPS that causes the lag, then what is it?
